This USB 3.1 Hard Drive is perfect for game consoles that have filled up their internal hard drives. The blue is very vibrant and is designed to match the aesthetic of a Playstation, but will also work perfectly fine with an Xbox One, PC or Mac. When plugged it into a Playstation 4 it is recognized immediately and is automatically formatted by the console. The same occurs when plugging it into a Windows 10 PC. The drive is quiet, but can be faintly heard spinning in a completely silent room. The USB cable it connects with is very short, but this is not an issue because it will likely sit next to or behind a gaming setup. Games load at about the same speed as the internal hard drive, but is slow compared to a solid state drive. I would recommend this drive to anyone looking to keep more games installed at once and are not looking for an SSD.

UPDATE. Dies after light use in less than 6 months. Dont waste your money on this cheap drive. Not only do you lose the money you lose the data so all the games have to be reloaded and then starting at scratch. Spend a little more and get a better drive. Dies after 6 months of light use would hate to see what happens if you actually use more than once or twice a week. If I could give 0 stars or negative I would have preferred to do that. I work in tech industry and we stopped using this brand in our computers and now I know first hand why we switched. Garbage
