The storage capacity of the one I purchased is 2TB, My one TB play station 4 was completely out of space so I bought this one. I plugged it in and turned on my PlayStation and within one minute I was ready to start adding games. The cord comes with it so I did not have to purchase an extra cord which is a plus the PlayStation recognized it right away and all I had to do was hit the button to use as extended storage and the PlayStation did the rest. It’s an awesome extended gaming storage I only wish that I had opted in for the 4 TB instead of just the 2TB. I would definitely recommend this.

It works very well. There is a slight lag at first when you select the game but Im talking MAYBE a second or two. And then everything plays flawlessly. When I hooked it up I had 4.01 TB available, but after formatting it was down to I believe 3.56 TB? not the fault of the hard drive but it is odd that it takes almost 500 GB to format?? But I went from 500GB of storage to 4 TB (including internal PlayStation storage) for about $100... Totally worth it!! I also like how easy it was to hook up, you just plug into the USB in the front and set the hard drive down next to or on top of the PlayStation and go to storage, format the external and then start transferring your storage. Also if anything goes wrong with this all of my game saves and everything stay on my PlayStation so its not a big deal. I should have gotten this earlier but after RDR2 being so big (over 110GB) I felt like I had to get more storage for all my future games.

Personally grabbed this external hard drive for ps4. The sync process was as simple as plugging the cords in and following the simple set up card provided. This device is next to silent, runs smoothly, and is very unobtrusive. The size of the drive is more than ample to fit my library of 50 plus games. Overall, very solid buy to expand your memory needs.

With digital download being more prevalent, this is a must have. Especially if you have a base ps4. Adds so much space and is relatively cheap compared to other drives of similar size.

Works like a charm! Have had no issues, lots of room to still use, and installing was a breeze. Just as they say when you hook the harddrive into your xbox you are asked about the formatting and what the drive is planned for the drive. Just reformat it as storage and you are good to go. Works in seconds switching everything over to your harddrive.

Too many folks lose everything because they dont have a backup copy of their computers. It hasnt happened to me, and thanks to Passport, it shouldnt. This is a fantastic hard drive, very easy to set up. Please note if you have a Mac, youll have to format it prior to use. Instructions are in the help screen. Once you have it formatted, its as easy as dragging and dropping the files youd like backed up. You can also backup your entire system, including the appearance settings, in case of some failure or other. Pretty cool to be able to plug in the Passport and with the click of a button, transfer your whole hard drive into a new machine. Highly recommend!

With games pushing gigs upon gigs of updates every other week I was starting to need one of these desperately. It came packaged well, a small piece of paper inside with the simple steps for set up. Ive got all of the storage space now, and could easily format this for PC use in the case I no longer need it for the ps4.

It worked great. Didnt have any issues with the setup or with it running
