Full disclosure: Im not using this for gaming. Im using it as a removable drive for my computer. Therefore there really isnt anything to set up. As soon as I plugged it into my desktop, it was visible and available for use. The speed is good, click and youre there. The drive itself is pretty well protected. The necessary cable is included. Bought two around christmas. One for ours and one for our daughters ps4. Both arrived exactly as and when they were supposed to. Very easy to connect and use. A few months in and still working wonderful on both systems. Well worth the money and recommended to anyone looking to add storage space on their ps4.

Would not work with my PS4 or PS4 Pro, I bought a Seagate and it worked right away, maybe it would work with a PC or something, but couldnt get it to format with PlayStation at all
