Blazing fast SSD, great for gaming and productivity

All the WD products Ive ever bought have worked right out of the box. This M.2 was no exception. I have it as a boot drive and no problems so far even after 7 hour long gaming sessions.

It is an affordable and effective storage solution for those who want to expand their memory on a laptop. Installation is, however, going to depend largely on the laptop model. I have a razer blade 15, and I was dumbfounded trying to install the second SSD since razer blades use an overlapping bracket that I took nearly 2 hours to figure out. That said, this was not the fault of the SSD and rather just something I being a razer fan, have come to accept.

Really nothing to add to previous reviews. Replaced my laptop drive and its perfect. No issue with read or writes, and its not thrown any hiccups my way.

I built a new computer back in December and since daily driving it for a while now I can say that this SSD is extremely worth it, especially if you can get it into a proper Gen 4 or 5 PCIe slot. As a comparison I used to have Halo Infinite on a Samsung 850 Pro over SATA, and the initial load time was in the 30+ second range. With the game on this SSD it loads in less than a second. This is also helped by an upgraded CPU and memory as well, but its definitely the largest contributor to the quicker loads.
