07-06-2025Lightning fast. My board isnt NVMe compatible but a $13 add-on card ( B07JJTVGZM) fixed that. Getting advertised speeds with very little heat. Amazing drive and at $100 its so worth it!

It is very fast and speedy, it operates very reasonably cool and provides plenty of room for Windows 11 and all my other programs and apps to include my Flight Simulator which runs great on my setup. I did change PCI lane configuration in bios to get max speed.

Greater than one weekThis bites BIG time. the card is bad and I have to pay for it. the B key is to small and would not slide into the slot that the small drive was in. Called WD and they said NO REFUNDS ON OPEN PRODUCTS as if I could ruin the drive and make it NOT fit my laptop... Im out $179.00 Never going to buy from Western Digital again!!!!!!

11-06-2025I had a problem with installing this into my laptop. Found from HP.com that I had to install the intel ready storage drivers from the driver software for my laptop. Once done had problem with the wifi installing when installing windows 11. Same fix get the drivers. Now this laptop rocks. My laptop is pcie gen3x4, even though this drive pcie gen4x4. It still rocks.
