> 3 dayBrand new. Modern infrastructure (PCIe 4.0, not compatible with SATA slots). Large memory, quick response, with 33% price cut. Would be perfect if heatsink could be included (especially for users with intensive gaming or install in PS5).

> 3 dayThis drive does exactly what it supposed to do and performs really well, especially for the price. I got it from a Cyber Monday or Black Friday sale for $44.99 and couldnt be happier.

> 3 dayIt was easy to install and the WD software was easy to use to and to update the firmware and see the details of my drive. It works well even in a gen 3 slot. The performance is amazing for the price. Installing was as easy as plugging a USB.

> 3 dayI have had the 500gb drive for right at 5 months and it crashed on me. Put me in a boot loop and I was unable to use my last restore point or disc repair. I wiped the drive to reinstall windows. with it being an SSD its pretty impossible to recover any media. Everything is lost. When I reinstalled windows and did a disk check there were bad sectors found.

> 3 dayI bought the WD Black m.2 4.0 device as a backup, so I did not open it until I needed to replace an SSD drive. Well, I started having problems with previous WD Black which I bought not too long ago (not even a year had passed). I installed the WD with the backup and received an error while trying to initialize the drive. It said that the request failed due ot a fatal hardware error. I put the older WD back in and it worked no problem. I tried to put the WD in again and it spat out the same message. Im a little upset because its well beyond the return date for this drive, as I bought it in June when it was on sale. Im wondering now if the amazon shop got a bad batch of devices and they decided to make a sale so they could get rid of the faulty drives. I wouldnt put it past them. I dont think Ill ever order any more devices from this amazon shop. Thanks for nothing!

> 3 dayFor the price I paid, this is a great deal for gaming. However, if youre a creator or you need an SSD to store large videos, photos and other big files, this is not a good choice because it lacks a DRAM cache. I transferred almost 2 TB at once, including large files, to it and it took much longer than it would compared to one with DRAM.
