36 lbs five year old boy. Very thin body. So far this is the best fit I could find so I am pleased with this. I ordered the XS but all the tags say S on them. He has not complained of discomfort.

Overall a nice protector for my 9-year-old boy. He found it to be very comfortable. Unfortunately, the waist strap did not stick after a few months of use, and the fabric where the plates are attached to the back started tearing resulting in several falling off. My son rides Mtb downhill in the mountains several times a week for 2-3 hours at a time. For $50 I think it was a good purchase and I would buy it again.

my kids are learning to ride dirt bikes so we got them these. I love how sturdy they are. I’m not worried if they fall that this won’t protect what it’s supposed to.

My 5 year old (turning 6 in a week wearing a small) got whiskey throttle..ended with him hitting our wooden trailer and flipping over the handle bars, I thought for sure he was badly injured. After checking his chest and back over I looked at the vest and could see every point of impact yet it evenly dispersed it leaving no injuries on his body. Highly recommend this chest protector! Update: May 2021 and this using these! Just need to update sizes but my boys are hard on these and they are holding up very well.

I got my 9 year old son this for him to wear when he rides his 110cc dirt bike. It offers a good amount of protection and fits nice and secure. The only thing I didn’t realize is that it doesn’t offer protection for his kidneys. I’m not experienced when it comes to dirt bikes and I’ve had a lot of friends tell me he needs a kidney belt too.
