Bought for my 11 year old son who just started riding! The shoulder pad part of it annoyed him at first, but he got used to it and it fit great and was worth the money.

My daughter thought this vest was a waste of time. She thought she didnt need it. Then she wrecked into a barbed wire fence and this vest saved her chest and and from getting ripped open! She has a pretty big cutt on her arm but where her chest and abdomen would have been sliced open there is scratches on the best!! Best money I have ever spent!

First order I got a large since my daughters height was listed as large. Received and was way to big. Recveived the Medium last night and is on the big side. Product wise; for the money it does have a shell. In a actual crash it would need to be tight otherwise it could do more harm. Hopefully it is a good investment
