I used it to clean copper pipe to be fast and it broke on the first attempt.

THe section of bristles that polish the outside of the pipe broke at the drive hex - I put a small hose clamp on the plastic but it didnt help much. 2 others that I bought did the same thing. This tool is useless for polishing the outside of 1 copper pipe. pete

This tool is not for professional use. I’ve purchased several of these devices twice and I’ve encountered the same problems on both occasions. The plastic housing is extremely brittle and breaks quite easily with repeated use. The device is very useful when it’s new but it’s build quality is a massive let down. As a plumber who relies heavily on my tools to complete my projects as efficiently as possible, I am not exaggerating when I say that this device has almost cost me money due to its failure at the most inopportune times. I will not be purchasing this tool again and I would advice others to be mindful of its shortcomings before purchasing it for themselves.

Total junk As I am laying under the house the main shaft detach from the plastic and it spins without cleaning the pipe. Its useless. Back to manual cleaning.

Great idea. Poorly made. Broke after one use. In a shop. Under ideal conditions.

Made cleaning the predrilled holes I intended to use, much easier to clean.

You gotta get one of these if you are doing more than a simple fix-it. Any serious project will go so much faster with these. I have a 1/2, 3/4, and 1 inch size of these and they save so much time. Just wear gloves when you using it to protect your hands from any sharp edges if a pipe or fitting slips in your hand, and please dont try to use one on the inside of the PIPE - outside of the pipe or inside of fittings only - or youll break the thing. I didnt have the female end extended far enough once and tweaked it - but then again I probably had my drill torqued up too.
