Wesco Pet Mini Bird Kabob Shreddable Bird Toy

I had previously bought the log made of this material with one hole in it, and the budgies obsessed over that, so I thought Id try this one. They love this, too! Four stars only because it looks like it will be destroyed very quickly, and for the price, Id rather it lasted longer.

By far, these little shredable disks are my parrotlets favorite toys - they can spend hours tossing them around the cage and tearing them apart, and sometimes toss them into the water dish to watch them float. Theyre a little expensive, but well worth it to keep my little guys amused!

Its very soft wood but my parakeet hasnt shown any interest in it at all. He prefers to bite my ears....

My bourkes parakeet is absolutely in love with this. He spends hours each day quietly shredding away. Its great to see him interacting with something since he isnt that playful with toys.

Well it took some time for my birds to adjust to the new object in their cage, but now they really enjoy shredding it. It keeps them busy.

Our eclectus went crazy for it immediately. She was one happy parrot for several hours but she did manage to shred the large size in one day. Will be getting more. Perhaps when she gets used them she will make them last longer. Even if not, as a treat now and then these are great. I think a good idea for my purposes would be to keep a couple on hand to cut a single chunk off, minus any string of course, and insert into her foraging toys.

My parakeets love them, but they go through them VERY quickly. I didnt like spending 6.99 on them, but I did. Now theyve gone wayyyyy up to 11.99 each!!! I thought maybe they had doubled the quantity, but unfortunately that is the true cost for only one. Birds love them.....but priced ridiculously high.....too bad. 5 star entertainment for parakeets....0 star cost. :(

OK with me, but my Ringneck wont & hasnt touched it! No idea why he hasnt shredded it. Will pass on to my cousin with 13 big birds; they will shred it! Cute product!
