I bought this SSD NVMe for replacing my internal SSD in Macbook Air (I also ordered an adapter, because Macbook Air uses non-standard connector.)

For my first drive of this kind, I bought a Kingston A400, big mistake as it failed in one hour. If I had bothered to read reviews I wouldve know it was garbage that was prone to failure. So I bought an M.2 from an actual storage drive manufacturer that knows what theyre doing, Western Digital.

Great product and fast. Compared to my other computer with a mechanical HD, the boot only take a few seconds vs. 2 minutes.

Easy install, great for storing the essentials and getting a lightning fast boot. Not a ton of space, but enough for my purposes

Put NVMe power at the heart of your PC for lightning-fast, ultra-responsive performance. The WD Blue SN550 NVMe SSD can deliver over 4 times the speed of our best SATA SSDs. Whether you"re working, creating, casual gaming or processing large amounts of data, take advantage of this powerful internal drive"s high speeds to do more, Faster. Available in capacities up to 1TB in an affordable M.2 2280 form factor, there"s no time Like now to make the change to NVMe. 1gb = 1 billion bytes and 1TB = one trillion bytes. Actual user capacity may be less, depending on operating environment.
