Didnt know these existed till I bought my new motherboard. Lots of storage space, very fast, Ive been using it for gaming. Easy to install, easy to partition. My favorite thing about it is that it doesnt use a SATA cable, which is good cause this is hard drive #7 in my rig. Lol. Western digital is a great company, all of my hard drives are WD, I havent had one die yet. My oldest HD is about 10 yrs old and still working just fine. You can see the M.2 installed right below my cpu in the pic.

Worked like a charm, but my laptop was a pest and wouldnt read it at first. After some tinkering, I got it up to work and it my typical load times from rebooting rate from 10 seconds to 2.5 seconds. Really worth it if you want to upgrade in my own opinion.

One of my first experiences when it came to using a SSD drive, and personally when it comes to programs used daily and my operating system, Ill never go back to using a hard disk for those again. I even went as far to upgrade my laptop storage with one as well.

Good simple compact storage

Not blazing fast but still super fast. I picked up the 2TB variant for my digital game library. The drives read and write speeds are pretty on par with their listed specifications. This is a very affordable NVMe drive from such a reputable brand, would definitely buy again.

Excellent item, easy too install into system and have installed Windows 10 as boot drive so much better.

A l’origine du projet d’achat, je souhaitais remplacer un SSD SN520 256Go (nvme 2x) par un SSD SN550 512Go (nvme 4x). Jusque-là rien de bien compliqué, sauf que mon ordi portable Asus TUF FX550DD semble juste incompatible (Version du BIOS 310) avec un blocage sur le logo Asus avant le boot machine. Après quelques recherches sur internet, je suis rapidement tombé sur d’autres personnes ayant eu la même mésaventure. Du coup j’ai installé cet SSD dans un portable HP et cette fois-ci pas de problème elle fonctionne parfaitement. D’après les premiers tests il s’agit d’un excellent SSD mais pas forcément compatible avec toutes les machines.
