I Installed this SSD on my macbook air early 2015, i did need a NVME SSD adapter to complete the installation as Macbook air uses a different type of SSD, but all in all this was a cheaper option for an upgrade and very easy to do.

Bought this in 2020 to add the capacity to Pc as additional storage… only this failed two years later (2022). Comparing to my boot drive which still runs 840 EVO, this WD drive is complete trash. Never getting another Wester Digital product again

Western Digital made a silent change to this SSD that cuts the performance down significantly. I noticed that this was not performing and benchmarking as expected and after that I did some google search and found this out. I suggest, if you are considering this SSD for CAD, Video, Large file processing, or Gaming that you do a little research first. I bought a SAMSUNG SSD to use as my primary drive and moved this to a backup position where performance is not as critical.

Cheap solid memory. Had issue installing in ROG Crosshair 7 board because I had to put it in raid mode for the board to work with it. Other than that, no issues.

I can confirm that this item along with others, enabled me to upgrade the SSD storage from 128GB to 500GB on my Macbook Air (2017) Model A1466. From start to finish with a complete restore of data and OS took 2 hours

Très bon rapport qualité / prix. Les performances sont très légèrement inférieures à mon Crucial P2 qui me sert de disque principal. Celui-ci, acheté 10€ de moins quun P2 en version 500Go, est très bien pour stocker les jeux video. Installation super facile. Reconnu immédiatement par ma carte MSI Z490 Gaming. Un petit formatage via le gestionnaire de disque et cest parti !
