Intended or Not? In regard to the sequential Write Speed capability of up to 3,500 MB/s Advertised on this Amazon sale page. After purchased this model, I just realized that the actual writing speed of this SN570 model is only 2,300 MB/s from their very own official page - Western Digital.

This is a review of the WD Blue SN570 1 TB. Meanwhile the SN 550 listed on the same amazon page might be a good drive, the SN 570 is the newer, better version. If you are looking for a drive for regular usage or is wondering if you will notice a performance difference between a DRAMless (this drive) and a fancier SSD like the SN 750 or SN 850, this is probably the right drive for you. Also great for people on a budget or for upgrading the drive for people who are not very tech savvy.

It has 1tb of storage. But I might need more lol.

Functions as promised! Gen4 drives are not necessary unless you explicitly need them.

I am using this new SSD and it works just great.
