Western Digital 500GB 2.5 Playstation 3/Playstation 4 Hard Drive (PS3 Fat, PS3 Slim, PS3 Super Slim, PS4)

I got this for my ps4 that stopped working. After messing around I decided it was the hard drive and ordered this product as a guess hoping it would work. I received it installed it and reinstalled the ps4 software from a usb. It works great and my ps4 runs better then ever.

Brand new sealed. Easy to install.

After reading just a few reviews I understood this is a used/refurbished product. You can see that when it comes with a sticker on the product itself saying there is a 2 year warranty from the seller (not the manufacturer). Many hard drives are this way. If you want to buy what I assume is a new one from Sony you can pay $119.

I used this to replace the factory hard drive that crashed. I have had no performance issues with the WD product for the PS3. Very easy to install. You do not need any adapters or brackets. It slides in place of the old hard drive.

My original PS3 Slim HDD stopped working (it had a good run), so I bought this as a replacement and the system works great again.

The drive works, but it isnt a new drive its an old PC drive from 2006
