Western Digital 500GB 2.5 Playstation 3/Playstation 4 Hard Drive (PS3 Fat, PS3 Slim, PS3 Super Slim, PS4)

Not terrible for the price, works perfectly in my PS3

The hard drive was easy to install to my ps3 and it works perfect

HDD in my dvr went bad and I picked up the cheapest new 500gb hdd I could find at amazon, paid $38 and got a Western Digital Caviar black. Not mad at all, in fact, the hdd is now inside my pc serving as my second gaming drive and migrated some of the games like BF1 and GTA V which both installed were ~140gb. Works like a charm.

I bought this for my PlayStation 3 Super Slim 12GB system. Before I bought and installed this HDD I could only save one game at a time on my PS3. If you have a super slim, I highly recommend buying this and the mounting bracket. I bought the MuchBuy hard drive mounting bracket and it works flawlessly. So for $60, the same price as a new video game, you can finally use your PlayStation 3 at its full potential. This HDD is already formated and ready to use out of the box. All you have to do is screw it into your mounting bracket and pop open the right side panel of your PlayStation 3, screw the mounting bracket in, and start your PS3 up and the PlayStation Will copy all your data from the internal flash drive into the New HDD and BAM! Its like having a brand new PlayStation 3!

Stated it fit a playstation 3 and it does not. The connection is completely different...
