I was able to install it in about 10 min and i now have wifi throughout the backyard.If you are looking for a easy to install wifi extender. this will work.

Trivial to setup if your router supports WPS. It did get stupid once so I had to unplug it and plug it back in but thats just typical of any consumer grade networking product.

Better than expected. All dead spots are alive now. Easy to install for this non geek.My parents are using it wonderfully. It is a short range fix though.

Extremely easy to set up! Works better than any other extender weve used. It works good enough that it reaches a second house (on the same property) and it gives enough signal that they could stream videos etc. BUT once we plugged it in, it seemed to make our regular wifi connection poor. The good thing about this one is you can take it places like hotels and it will make a private connection (harder to hack than an open wifi signal). Im not exactly tec savy so when I say easy set up I mean easy lol and Im sure theres 100 other things you can do with this one as it gave me options but I was only interested in using as an extrender. We purchased an Amazon warehouse deal so there werent any directions but as soon as I plugged it in and went on my phone to the extender wifi name it went right to set up! We can stream videos over 400 ft away on a smart TV and our devices so I would say its pretty good. We had a belkin extender, it worked but not good enough to use for videos etc and only worked maybe 200ft at most, was spotty and then the extender stoped working in 8 months.

I have never felt the desire to leave feedback for a product before, but this extender is great. It was easy to set up (under 3 min), and I saw immediate results when I connected. Highly recommended.

So far so good. Had real problems with getting a signal upstairs, but this is a game changer. Full 4-5 bars everywhere. Some people are reporting slow speeds to their existing wifi or half speeds using this device - this has not been our experience. We did have an issue that we easily remedied. My son moved the extender to a new outlet and after that for some reason it would not accept the password. So, we just did a quick hard reset. To do this, it must have power (we learned this the hard way). You need a paper clip to do it. Just keep it powered up, and with paper clip press the reset button on bottom of unit, holding it for 8-10 seconds. Then, making sure you are on the new TPLINK network, go to tplinkrepeater.net and just reset it. Will keep you posted if this is a recurring problem.

Wanted to extend my wifi distance so I could stream TV in our camper. Before we could not. Now... no problem. Works really best and pretty easy to set up. we had a router downstairs and spotty reception upstairs (house has thick walls). This product was pretty easy to install and solved the problem perfectly.

I have bought 3 of these for our office to extend the range of our WI-FI through our whole area. I have had very good luck with these, they are very easy to setup. I have at least tripled the Wi-Fi coverage here for a whopping $90.00. Id recommend.
