> 24 hourLove the sharp pointy end of this. Reminds me of my favorite tomato slicing knife. Wish their longer trowel had the same sharp edge. I use this more often, even when I need to dig a deeper hole to get thistle roots out. Im also abusive with tools and leave them out in the weather. So far heres not a big a rust on this trowel. The leather strap is handy too. Can hang the thing on the fence or other nearby object so it doesnt get lost in the soil.

> 24 hourI think it will do the trick when transplanting seedlings and putting in summer bulbs. It is a gift for a gardener so I think it will be used.

> 24 hourI wanted a trowel that was strong and wouldnt bend or break. This trowel fits that perfectly. It has a very solid construction and is remarkably strong. Also, it is very sharp, which is important when digging in dense, hard clay.

> 24 hourIve gardened for 30 years and this is the most well-engineered and comfortable long-armed trowel I have ever encountered. It can be used for simple shallow digging, but it is also great for digging deep into soil to get at invasive roots and weeds. And it is unbelievably comfortable and solid.

> 24 hourIt would be nice if it had a hole for the cord with a top that could be hammered down with a mallet for hard soil or sod. The cord comes out the top, so its in the way, and if it breaks, youre out of luck. Otherwise, its pretty nicely made.
