The metal is thick and the fold in the middle adds strength too. The sharp edge makes this a unique tool ...can cut roots or skin, so be careful. I have found many uses for this... so much more than just a gardening shovel. I did file the edge near the handle to soften it.

Four years of heavy use and still like new. No rust no breakages. There is no hint of excessive wear. Love this product. High quality.

I dont have to lean over as much with the longer version. It is great for getting out weed roots, levering weeds out of cracks, and planting small seedlings.

Having a sharp trowel is great. And the point lets you get into smaller areas.

I have a small spade of about this size from the same company. It and the trowel are all I need for my small to mid-sized garden. Incredibly sturdy, easy to use.

This is the best general purpose garden trowel Ive ever used. Ive owned the same one for over four years and its still going strong. Theres a smaller version good for more dainty stuff but I prefer this one for most things. Bonus: Its made in the USA.

Just what I was looking for...all purpose and basically unbreakable, and of course easy to clean.

Wow this is really awesome and Im glad I purchased and found the website. I spend a lot of time in the yard digging and break most of these from the local store. I dont think that this one will break. Its really sharp and gets into the dirt. Mine is really hard and I have to wait for it to rain just to try and pull weeds unless I water first. I liked it so much I also purchased a shorter version. Im glad I found the website.
