> 24 hourA great tool. If you are a gardener or know one or more, this is the perfect replacement for all those bent and rusting ones in the bottom of your gardening tote! It is a little large for smaller hands but the quality is worth the slight extra effort to hold it.

> 24 hourI purchased this for wife, who loves to work in our flower and vegetable gardens. We have broken MANY trowels over the years - we have tough soil to work with in SC. This trowel has performed very well for the past year and I expect it will for years to come. Great for breaking up ground, comfortable rubber grip. Good buy for the money.

> 24 hourPerfect for getting plants out of the ground as well as digging new holes. Ive been using it on greenbriar, which if rooted have a large tuber 8 or so down, connected to heavy runners -- very hard to get out of the ground. With this tool, I found myself leaning all my weight (195 pounds) on it to lever the plants up. I didnt do this intentionally and I dont know if I should recommend doing that, but the tool took, and the roots and tuber came up.

> 24 hourI appreciate that this trowel wont snap in half. However, the ergonomics are terrible. For a month, I have been trying to find a way to comfortably hold this while still exerting enough force to get the job done. I cant. To get it into hard dirt, I have to use two hands to repeatedly stab at the dirt like Im trying to murder it. When the dirt is finally loosened a bit, I scoop out the planting hole with my bare hand because this trowel scoops so poorly that my bare hand is more efficient. About the only thing this is good for is prying out dandelions in tight spaces where I cant just use a spade. For that one job, not snapping in half is more important than ergonomics. . . barely. Would it have killed them to make a handle with a decent grip? I just paid half the price to buy a different trowel that was designed to be functional rather than merely indestructible. What good is indestructible if it doesnt get the job done?

> 24 hourI go metal detecting so lots of Garden Trowels end up bending and curling. This one does not. This is built strong, like someone cared about it.
