> 3 dayWhat I love about this rubber duck is that it doesn’t have the open air hole in the bottom so water doesn’t get into the duck. This means it doesn’t end up moldy like others. It still floats. The colors are bright and the quality good. It did not arrive with any rubber smell.

> 3 dayWe got the ice dragon and fire dragon. My boys love them, they are good quality, bigger than I thought, no hole to get mold in and I am happy with the purchase.

Greater than one weekI applaud the maker to be certain this Ducky doesnt grow mold. However this ducky doesnt float upright. He just lays on his side. The first one I bought elsewhere didnt float either so I purchased a second one to see if it would float. No deal! I cant imagine that the addition of Oxicones, giraffe ears and a tail would tip them over but they do. This is disappointing and I refuse to buy another in any style as we do expect them to float.

> 3 dayThe pirate duck was inflated when it arrived - I live at 5600 ft (1700 m) elevation, and products sealed at lower elevations often arrive here looking like balloons, and this duck was such. It does show that the duck is air-tight though. I poked a tiny hole in it and squeezed out some of the air and then sealed the hole with epoxy; this left the bottom of the duck slightly concave. But just letting out some of the air did not cause the duck to right itself in the water, and it just kept flopping over on its side, so I began attaching weights to the bottom. After attaching a mass of 40 grams (1.4 oz), it began to float a little more upright, however, all the added weight caused more of the duck to be submerged; if any more is added, the pirate will probably slip beneath the waves for good. As a collectable it looks good, but as a floating toy, not so much.

Greater than one weekThe tail in this duck does not stand up and fan out like the picture, it turns down so much that it actually touches the ducks head, making it look weird. In fact, I thought for sure it was a manufacturer defect thinking maybe it had melted or something, so I ordered another- it was the same. This is unusual for this company bc almost all the other ducks we purchased from here for my daughter’s collection were super cute and good quality. It looks odd, so for that reason I wouldn’t purchase this specific duck.
