> 3 dayI thought that maybe this umbrella would repel water better than a cheaper one. I was wrong, although it is bigger, and it opens at the push of a button, but you manually have to close it. The rain gets through and you do get wet. The material does not repel well. Why don’t they use material that’s well made? They charge enough to afford it.

> 3 daySo I like portable umbrellas but find that they’re too small to cover two people or get bullied by wind. I got this one and it covers two people quite nicely. Not sure how it’d do in a small gust but so far so good.

This umbrella is robust and the commute parter I needed. This morning on the train platform this umbrella shielded me from the wind gusts of a passing freight on the platform and was steadfast during this California storm on my walk to the office. I just bought another so we’ll have one in both cars. Great umbrella!
