Winsor & Newton Cotman Watercolor Paint Set, 12 Colors, 8ml (0.27-oz) Tubes

I didnt like the colors in this set. They also were more difficult to use than previous paints that I had used.

A great standard set of paints. Pretty good quality and easy to dry in the palette! Edit: Been using these for a little while now and theyre actually a fairly nice set. Remember that they arent artist grade paints, but they certainly do a good job. I use them for both practice and regular painting. If youre looking to put them in your palette, just be a bit careful. A couple of them have chipped off and they tend to crack a little. But all in all I support this product and recommend it for those starting out or if you want a cheaper set of paints.

I used these paints as my first watercolors, and I never regretted it since it’s so pigmented, it dries into a hard plastic which is nice for travel kits. I use to buy these paints for 4.99 each at micheals but got damn they’re so cheap here. I’m now migrated into Daniel smiths and mgrahm(professional paints) I truly do recommend these paints to anyone Oh big con but it dosent come in this set PLEASE STAY AWAY from the PAYNES GRAY COTMAN the formula makes the pigment separate causing the paint on paper turning into blue and some black specs. It’s not suppose to do this and it didn’t say anything about it granulating on the website

They’re good student grade watercolors.

It was recommended by an artist who was teaching a watercolor class to purchase Winsor & Newton Cotman water colors. It is important to have good paints to get the effect you want. This set gave a nice choice of colors to start me off. It was a good price compared to Michaels.

The paints are bright and beautiful but the tubes puncture very easily when we try to twist the tiny lids of the tops open. Both the tops/lids and the quality of the tube need to be better. We have them all wrapped in shrink wrap to keep it hen useable.

I love these so much, buying the tubes and putting them in its own pallet is way worth it. This is my absolute favorite paint brand, ive tried so many other brands before but none of them have worked so nicely as these, im in love .

Excellent Quality watercolors for the price. They mix nicely to create smooth, continuous color. Perfect for anyone wanting to experiment with higher quality water colors without paying $20 a tube!
