This works great for just transmitting video and audio. I have to warn you though, do not get this if you want to game with it. The delay will make it almost impossible to play any first person shooter or timing game. On the bright side, it does transmit a beautiful 4K quality video!

This wifi receiver visually looks great and of a really high build quality, to bad the successfull use of the hdmi transmitter dongle to connect to the receiver was so difficult I found it nearly impossible to use the hdmi dongle with the receiver due to it just not wanting pair. I was able to pair the dongle after many many tries and resets, unfortunately it only worked well for a couple weeks and then it just stopped connecting to the receiver, and I havent been able to get it to connect or even do a reset since. But thats only half the story, it is still functional for use connecting to a Android tablet or smartphone as well as Apple tablets or phones. The connection to a tablet or smartphone is much better experience than when using the hdmi dongle. It connects to my Samung tablet easily using the smart view app and provides a relatively stable and reliable connection,it does however drop the connection at random every so often. The picture quality is good as is the sound quality, there is a however a brief lag between my tablet and the output display. So my feelings are kind of mixed about this device, it looks great and preforms great with a Android device and likely would with a Apple device, but connections via the hdmi dongle are somewhat difficult to a acheive if possible at all.

I set it up between devices situated about 10m apart. Initially, I was getting no signal. When I opened our large sliding door, the signal became intermittent, and when it does work it is jumpy. The maximum range is advertised as 30 m, so I thought 10 m would work easily, but Im struggling to get a signal. When I connect the device into my TV and the transmitted into the set-top box right next to it, it works, but the picture is not great on a large device. Just wanted to point out that it does work if youre located nearby, but thats not why I bought it. I bought it for a screen 10 metres away from the set-top box, and it doesnt work. Update: I bought a 3m HDMI cable to get the receiver closer to the transmitter. I also moved the transmitter somewhere closer. Still no luck. Tech support suggested its possible to use WiFi to the signal, but this seems only to be possible if transmitting from a phone to a screen, not to transmit from a set-top box to a screen. Very disappointed in the product.

Super easy plug and play use. No lag

This is my favorite HDMI wireless adapter. I recently tried four different ones, and 3 of them had issues of one sort or another. This one is rock solid, has decent range, and lots of features, including crystal clear output. In my case I wanted to extend the output of my camera NVR to a remote monitor. This monitor only had VGA and DVI inputs - no worries I thought - Ill just get an HDMI->DVI cable and bobs your uncle! Wrong. The monitor doesnt support 1920x1080 (1080p), it only supported up to 1680x1024. Bummer. Then I noticed the VGA connector on the back. Dug out a vga cable and VOILA! It works. Crystal clear video, I can even read the camera overlay with it downscaling for the monitor. I also tested screen sharing from my Android phone, and it worked perfectly as well. It also has many other features that I didnt test - but it is the one I love! If you need a solid wireless HDMI transmitter, get this one. You wont be sorry.

I was hooking a Flat Panel TV to a Streaming device about 25 feet apart. If this is your situation you will need TWO SEPARATE POWER SUPPLIES TO MAKE IT WORK. If hooking one unit to a laptop then it will power one of them. Get a POWER SUPPLY WITH NUMEROUS ADAPTER ENDS as the power connection on these units is not common. UPDATE THIS UNIT IS CONSTANTLY LOSING ITS PAIRING SO YOU HAVE TO RESET IT FREQUENTLY !!!! Update #2 TOTALLY DIED AFTER 90 DAYS OF ONLY MODERATE USE !!!!!!!!

Work better than expected. Clear, plug and play. Simple to use.

This wireless HDMI transmitter/receiver works perfectly for my needs. It includes the receiver unit (the part with the two antennas), the sender (the lollipop shaped device), and a USB power cord for each, as well as a short HDMI cable for the receiver. Using it is incredibly easy. Screw the antennas onto the receiver and point them up, as you see in the photos. Attach to your TV or projector with an HDMI cable. Plug the USB cable into it and the other end into a USB power source. Most TVs and projectors have USB ports, but if yours doesnt, plug it into a USB phone charger. Turn your TV on and select the appropriate input. Youll get an instruction screen. You probably wont need it. The transmitter and receiver are paired at the factory already. Now plug the transmitter into the HDMI port on your computer or whatever device you are using. If the power light comes on, you are good. That means the HDMI port on that device provides enough power to the transmitter. If you dont get a power light, plug the included USB power cord into the transmitter, and the other end into a USB plug. In about 10 seconds, the transmitter will connect to the receiver and your video and sound will be transmitted to the receiver. Done! I have used this approximately 90 feet from my TV and the picture and sound were still perfect. I couldnt get any further away. There is a very slight delay from transmitter to receiver (maybe half a second), so it may not be desirable for gaming. I am super happy with this setup. NOTE: The receiver also has VGA output for connecting to a monitor that does hot have an available HDMI.

This HDMI transceiver set works great. The picture looks fine, and the set is pre-paired so setup was a breeze. The picture is a little laggy as is to be expected when transmitting it over WIFI across the room, so dont expect to be able to play games. Its fine for watching movies though. The only issue Ive found is that the transmitter can get hot, especially if it lays flat on a surface (such as might happen when attached to a laptop), so Ive taken to letting it dangle off the edge of a table to improve air flow. The engineers need to apply a little more time to thermal management, but other than that, Im happy with it.
