Not quite the miracle I was hoping it would be, but it definitely works. There appears to be some loss in quality / compression although i think thats to accomodate for latency, which there is very little of. Overall, its ok... but I think the technology will only improve from here.

I got this device to produce a beautiful image on my big screen TV, but it has a long lag time, and it shuts down the audio on my computer and does not transmit sound to the TV. Im pretty sure this has something to do with HDMI standards that prevent conversion of music. I have to admit a bad mistake - having seen other such devices like the Chromecast, I assumed the little dongle was the receiver that goes to the TV, so I thought this device was DOA - but it was my mistake. Im looking for more support.

I got this for use with a projector and gaming. Overall, it does what it describes, and wirelessly transmits the HDMI signal. I used it with my Xbox Series without issues. The quality is indistinguishable from a physical cable with no artifacting or digital noise that I could tell. I tried to game on it, but it does have a BIT of lag. Not major, but noticeable when playing video games. I have no way to tell exactly how much, but Id guess about 5-10 frames of lag were present when attempting to game. Thats why I said its great for some use-case scenarios. Its a bit pricey, but it does what it says, and it does it well!

This wireless HDMI transmitter/receiver works perfectly for my needs. It includes the receiver unit (the part with the two antennas), the sender (the lollipop shaped device), and a USB power cord for each, as well as a short HDMI cable for the receiver. Using it is incredibly easy. Screw the antennas onto the receiver and point them up, as you see in the photos. Attach to your TV or projector with an HDMI cable. Plug the USB cable into it and the other end into a USB power source. Most TVs and projectors have USB ports, but if yours doesnt, plug it into a USB phone charger. Turn your TV on and select the appropriate input. Youll get an instruction screen. You probably wont need it. The transmitter and receiver are paired at the factory already. Now plug the transmitter into the HDMI port on your computer or whatever device you are using. If the power light comes on, you are good. That means the HDMI port on that device provides enough power to the transmitter. If you dont get a power light, plug the included USB power cord into the transmitter, and the other end into a USB plug. In about 10 seconds, the transmitter will connect to the receiver and your video and sound will be transmitted to the receiver. Done! I have used this approximately 90 feet from my TV and the picture and sound were still perfect. I couldnt get any further away. There is a very slight delay from transmitter to receiver (maybe half a second), so it may not be desirable for gaming. I am super happy with this setup. NOTE: The receiver also has VGA output for connecting to a monitor that does hot have an available HDMI.

I love this thing! Its packed nicely, and design wise and size wise it is easy to hide behind the tv or if you leave it in view it looks like a mini WIFI router haha. The product works! And works well! I have it set up with a mini projector and it works like a charm! Would not hesitate to recommend this if it suits your desire and purpose of needing a wireless option like this. Very content!

Needed this urgently for a presentation I had to do, and it worked flawlessly. No glitches, no dropouts. I would order again in a heartbeat!

This wifi receiver visually looks great and of a really high build quality, to bad the successfull use of the hdmi transmitter dongle to connect to the receiver was so difficult I found it nearly impossible to use the hdmi dongle with the receiver due to it just not wanting pair. I was able to pair the dongle after many many tries and resets, unfortunately it only worked well for a couple weeks and then it just stopped connecting to the receiver, and I havent been able to get it to connect or even do a reset since. But thats only half the story, it is still functional for use connecting to a Android tablet or smartphone as well as Apple tablets or phones. The connection to a tablet or smartphone is much better experience than when using the hdmi dongle. It connects to my Samung tablet easily using the smart view app and provides a relatively stable and reliable connection,it does however drop the connection at random every so often. The picture quality is good as is the sound quality, there is a however a brief lag between my tablet and the output display. So my feelings are kind of mixed about this device, it looks great and preforms great with a Android device and likely would with a Apple device, but connections via the hdmi dongle are somewhat difficult to a acheive if possible at all.

Took a while to figure out. Your HDMI source should be 1080p, if not it will show the instruction screen on output monitor, which is to repair or screen mirroring with Android or iOS. My Lorex security system in the attic outputs 4k, I fed it to the transmitter and it did not work. After much effort figuring out the issue, I tried changing Lorex settings to 1080p and it worked. It is likely going back. Why market on something it is not capable of doing. I knew it outputs at 1080p but the product is supposed to decode 4k input. Transmitter and receiver are separated by one layer of 3/4 plywood and drywall and about 30 feet away. 1080p works good.
