Plug in and play is false advertisement, this product does not work..

I was very surprised that this worked so well, and right out of the box. I remember trying a similar product a couple of years ago, and it was unusable. This thing had no problems. It gives a good image (there is a little compression, of course), and is extremely easy to use. On top of that, the latency is quite low. I think that it pretty intensely uses the graphics card of the computer that it is plugged into, so for that reason, I would not recommend it for gaming. But for work, for presentations, putting up movies and streams on a monitor or tv that is hard to reach, this thing is by far the best solution Ive come across.

I dont know about you, but when I saw the picture, I had absolutely no faith this would work well. Just a cable with two connections? How could that work? So, it actually has two cables. One is for output and one is for input (self explanatory.) It is powered by USB. So I used my computer out HDMI and USB (A) for power. Plugged the second cable into my TV about 40 feet away, HDMI in and USB for power. That was it. It worked perfectly. The directions are basically non-existent, but who needs them!? Nothing to this. It does comes with a black HDMI extender, but that is necessary only if you need more cable length so you can reach the HDMI port or the USB port. Nothing special. Overall, works fine in the distance I tried. I am going to try a more complicated use in the next few weeks and will update if there is any change, but I am 100% convinced and a believer. This is a great little device that you will use a lot. There was virtually no setup - I plugged the transmitter into my laptops HDMI port and the receiver into the TV HDMI port and, in no time, I was mirroring my laptop stream to the large tv monitor. This is really convenient when showing movies from my DVD drive or those I ripped to a hard drive. It is also great for presentations at meetings. This is a must have for any videophile that does serious streaming to a tv or monitor. Also, it comes at a really good price so it makes a nice gift.

I got this to avoid using an HDMI cable at events where we needed a portable scoreboard, and with my projector and portable screen this was a no-brainer to put that scoreboard closer to the guests who came to the roller derby bout. Connecting is a no-brainer as the transmitter and receiver are paired at the factory. I do wish my laptop had more old-style USB-A ports to connect this with, but I used an old phone charger to supply the necessary power to the transmitter and I was up and running. The resolution is great (looks crystal clear to me, so likely is the full 4k they claim) and within the distance claimed I had no problems connecting. There is a bit of lag between when I move my mouse and when it moves on the screen, but its nothing I cant work through. I had not expected audio to transmit as well as video, but when I broadcast some videos from my laptop onto my TV the sound was definitely coming from the TV (which means no more HDMI cables on movie nights - YAY!). For what this does, I am blown away by how well it works and how simple it is to use - this is MUCH better than any Chromecast Ive ever used as I get to control what I cast and it doesnt have to be in a web browser.

This is much more convenient than the other wireless HDMI transmitter/receiver kit that I have to use separate power wart. It works very well with most of my TVs, except for the very old one that doesnt have a USB port to power this. Theres a short delay, about 1/4 of a second, from the source laptop to the TV. Its only noticeable when I have audio output on the laptop while watching the TV. The lips doesnt sync. This is an issue when I output audio from laptop to the stereo amp. The way to remediate this is to take the audio output from the TV to the amp; that way the video and audio are in sync.

Software solutions for mirroring a screen are all different, whereas hardware HDMI is HDMI; the same everywhere. This hardware solution to screen mirroring is painless and a pleasure to share a computer screen with a large TV. If the HDMI power from the source and target is insufficient, each receiver (RX) and transmitter (TX) allows a micro-USB port for external power. The image mirrored is precise and responsive.

Tested with phone and laptop transmitting to TV. Image quality was good and no visible lag. Tested distance to about 20ft with no issues.

This is a very easy to use HD antenna set that includes one dedicated transmitter and one dedicated receiver (and they’re each clearly labeled). It’s pretty much just plug and play since each end instantly recognizes the other and connects (though you may have to attach the included USB power supplies to them to get them to work). The picture quality is basic 1080p so don’t expect to be able to stream 4K content with these, but they’re a great option for work-related presentations or projectors that only offer 1080p resolution anyway. Overall, this is a well made and easy to use pair of basic HD antennas that sells for a pretty fair price. Four stars.

This kit works really well especially with my projector machine. Just use my console or computer to transmit to it. Really user friendly and great value for the money.
