Well made. Attractive and just the right size for 3 day trip and carry on plane. Fits nicely in overhead of any size.

Was looking for an attractive carry-on bag with a contrasting inner lining. This was as close as I could find that met that criteria. I chose Vera Bradley as I have had a number of V.B. bags over the last 20 years and have always been happy with each one, no matter the style or fabric choice. This bag will be useful for travel with its roomy interior and detachable shoulder strap, along with shorter handles. But I am so disappointed with the outer fabric as the design has a faded appearance. This pattern does not have the bright colors all of my other V.B. bags have had. This pattern is pretty enough but it is dull and drab even though the pattern is complicated and busy. I compared this fabric to another V.B. bag that is several years old and this newer bag appears to have been washed repeatedly and the colors dim and worn. It seems the company has cut costs in materials now and unless the new fabrics are better quality and have the former brightness I will not feel the higher cost of these bags worth paying anymore.

I gave this bag 5 stars, even though I bought it to go on an airplane, under the seat. It is way to big to go under the seat, but its perfect for above storage. I will order another one smaller, but I will use this one. Already used it to pack for a 4 day get a way, and it did great. Lots of room.

Ill admit I held out for years based upon the fabric element of the construction of these bags. I consistently look for a purchase them for my daughter and granddaughter who love them. I am more into designer handbags. Then my boss comes in with the weekenders for her new place in Maine. It got me wanting to take a look. Well, my new Charcoal Medallion Iconic Weekender (so I can air travel with it) has no replaced, yes replaced my LV. It is simply more user friendly! Hubby loves it too!!
