I was able to grind a stump down about an inch with one wheel before it got worn down. For the price its good and did what I needed it to do.

This tool and all like it really make short work out of removing material. Made a bowl out of a yellow birch burl taking out much material before this with forsner bit, wish I would of tried these years ago. Not enough time to judge duribility ,but seems solid enough.

The discs are hardened steel and not carbide, so they will dull faster with use. I have been happy with how the disc removes wood from a bowl I am making. At the price, when it gets dull simply replace it with a new sharp disc and keep cutting. Great value for your dollar.

Hit an 18ga brad with this and it was done. Started burning the wood. Not impressed.

I bought this to trim down a crepe myrtle branch that was about two inches thick. Ate through it in seconds. It took me only a few minutes to get the whole branch down to size. Amazingly powerful.

What would take me hours to do even with a 1/4 shaft Kutzall took me 25 minutes. THATS FAST!! Both disc were really priced too low for what they do.

I am a wooden bowl maker, and I use curved rasp discs in the second stage of shaping. These discs have an aggressive initial cut, but dull quickly if you use them on harder woods, such as pecan or oak. I have a holey Galahad rasp from King Arthur tools that still has some cut after well over a hundred bowls. These discs begin to dull noticeably after 2 or 3 bowls. At $70, the Galahad was far more cost effective.
