Greater than one weekI’ve only used these disks a few times but they seem to be made pretty sturdily and have no trouble removing a lot of wood quickly. I was using them on a black walnut carving I was working on and I had to proceed slowly with these wheels, so as not to take to much wood off. You can easily gouge the piece you’re working on if you don’t use your grinder to feather your removal. Once I used them for about 10 minutes, I quickly got the hang of taking off as much as I wanted, where I wanted, without the wheel grabbing the wood too much. As I said, I’ve only used the product a few times in the week or so that I’ve had it but it seems to be quality made and does the job as intended. Time will tell how long they last but for the price of the two pack I bought, I think it was a sound investment.

> 3 dayI recently got into woodworking and decided to give these Wood Carving Discs a try. Overall, they work pretty well! The coarse grinding dish helps shape and sand the wood with ease, and the 4-inch size fits nicely on my angle grinder. The only downside is that they wear down fairly quickly, but thats to be expected with any sanding disk. Overall, Im pretty happy with this purchase and would recommend them to any fellow woodworkers out there.

> 3 dayFirst time using one of these, better to drag than push. Very aggressive and makes short work of whatever you’re carving. Granted I was using cedar but I can imagine it would be just as productive on a harder wood. I was skeptical given the cost but this is a heavy and seemingly very durable tool.
