Greater than one weekThe chainsaw blade did not actually cut wood when mounted on my Dewalt grinder. It made a groove and burned the wood from friction instead of a cutting action. I even put on the spare chain blade provided in the kit and had the same result.

Greater than one weekI used this to make some dough bowls out of cypress. Theres no instructions so it took me a minute to figure out how to get the blades on the grinder. Project came out great. Easy to use. Very messy so recommend do it outside.

> 3 dayHavent tried it out yet, but the quality is good. It has a nice storage container, and the cutters have good fit and finish. Barely mentioned were the cut resistant gloves, very cool item. The gloves are stretchy enough to fix my XXL hands, and the have a cut rating that matches the intended use of these cutters. Overall, I am quite happy, only 4 stars due to not using yet.

Greater than one weekNot what carvers use!! Why do carvers use “dime-tip”, and “quarter-tipped” chainsaws when carving? In the category of “most dangerous tool” Angle Grinders are probably only second to ladders. Adding chains, which can kick because of geometry or sharpening error, is simply not good idea on which to follow through. (I’m not saying it’s a bad idea… I’m saying that after you ask yourself “maybe a chainsaw chain on an angle grinder is what I need?” the answer should be a resounding “THERE ARE WAY BETTER OPTIONS!” [Check out sanding/shaping disks if you want to use a grinder…] How about a responsible group effort to end the sale of angle-grinder chainsaw attachments! (Write anew, add, or cut-and-paste…)

> 3 dayThis tool really work good. I used it on soft wood logs in scalping, had to clean around the safety shield often. Also work with hard wood it work very well. I enjoyed working with tool made a bowl with it. I used both the wood carver and grinding wheel. Great fun but messy, will keep doing the is.

> 3 dayI have 5 Bald Cypress trees in my lawn and bought this to cut down the cypress knees. This blade goes through them like butter and allows me to cut them down to the soil level and below, allowing the grass to cover them.

> 3 dayCan t speak to the longevity or durability because these ratings are asked for way too soon after purchase.

> 3 dayThese are high quality products. I can’t speak much to longevity over time. But I can tell you that they work amazingly well to excavate high quantities of wood in a controlled manner. I have found the control of my grinder using the wheels to be excellent. I certainly would make this purchase again
