> 24 hourThese are cute. I actually gave it to my 4 yr old and shes been fine with it (even though the recommended age is 5+). They make cute little sounds and I like the fact that its not super loud like a lot of other kid toys. The toy has a couple different sensors and reacts according to how its touched and in what position its held. The little hair tuft on top of its head lights up from underneath so you dont have to worry about fiber optics poking you. Its eyes also open/close. The feet are coated in glitter which can be slightly rough when sliding over your finger and you end up with little specks of glitter coming off but its not much. There doesnt seem to be much glitter coming off now. The toy can also hang [with its front feet] on the side of baskets/containers. Overall its a cute toy and my daughter is in love with the bonus mini baby that is included.

> 24 hourI got this for my youngest son, and he loves them This set comes with a larger panther (he thinks its just a black cat) and a mini one, and theyre adorable. Ive never heard of Fingerlings before, but were now a fan. The toy makes noises, moves its head, blinks their eyes, and its just soooo darn cute. You can pat them and dangle them and do all sorts of things to get it to respond and interact with you. My son especially likes the fact that he can put it on his finger and that it also lights up, too. The toy itself appears well-constructed, and its still working after a month or so. There is a tiny switch on it to turn it off (youll want to do that, believe me...especially if your kid sets it down and goes into another room - it doesnt stop trying to interact otherwise), thankfully! Theres cute little details on the face, and the hair on the top is cute as a button. The tiny little mini figurine is more for just show than anything else, but you can place it on/with the bigger one during play. Since this has a tiny little figurine with it, I would definitely keep this away from toddlers and little ones that like to stick things into their mouths. Aside from that, its an adorable and unique gift for any child. Love it! Two thumbs up!

> 24 hourMy daughter spent $40 on this item and waited anxiously for days for it to get here. It is missing the baby tiger entirely and It did not come in original packaging but came with dead batteries. Super disappointing for such a pricey item.

> 24 hourThe WowWee Fingerlings are the cutest and most fun toy for children 5+. But I have found numerous adults find a tremendous amount of Joy in this beautiful product too. There is a variety of different characters. I received Benny and Cub, a set of Fingerling Tigers that are just delightful. SOUNDS The larger Tiger makes fun tiger sounds and oohs and ahhhhs! The small Tiger does not make any sound. But clip it to the tail of the other tiger, and it is super cute. HOW TO MAKE SOUNDS I leave the tiger clipped to my desk lamp all day, and then I periodically pat it on the head, and it makes noise. Here is also how you can get some noise from it. ~Put your hand in front of its face it chirps, ~Slide your hand down in front of its face, and it sends you a kiss. ~Rock it like a baby, and it coos and then snores and goes to sleep. ~Shake it around, and its heads goes back and forth, and it makes an excellent monkey sound. The box says it makes over 200 sounds, and I managed to get about 50 or so. They are super fun, and the toy is very interactive. A young child will be enamored at the way it coos and laughs! AGE I would not recommend these for small children because the little tiger is tiny and not age-appropriate. BATTERY & CONSTRUCTION The construction of the toy is super durable and made of plastic. They need a battery to spin the head around and make noises, and the battery is inside the back of the toy. There are four screws small screws on the back to open the battery housing, and it is easy to replace. PRICE At the time of my review, this toy was ($14.89). An excellent price for a fun and interactive gift for a child. They will love it!

> 24 hourI have a children of both genders aged 4 through 12 and they all love Fingerlings. Our current collection consists of monkeys and dinosaurs , a sloth, a dragon and a panda along with play sets for them to live on. The addition of the cat line is brilliant and a huge hit, especially with my 11 year old. These cats are puuuurrrrfectly adorable in my daughters eyes. Where I tend to see the black and white half closed eyes as a drunk skunk, she sees her darling cat with the coy eyelids adding to the cuteness factor. To each his or her own. In general these toys are well constructed -- we have played with our existing ones for almost two years, at least weekly (at one point they served as our table centerpiece) with no breakage or dead batteries. I have no reason to believe this would last any less. The hair does light up different colors, meaning it reminds me less of a skunk when it is actually on an being used. I do find the little kitten cuter although it gets less play time due to not being electronically interactive in any way. There are some minor differences in design when compared to the more common monkeys. When you turn it on (switch is located at the back of the head) it always greets you with a purrry hello. I actually find the babbling chatter and kisses more intelligible than the other Fingerlings. The tail features the same curve which allows you to hang as the monkeys do, but it is shorter and less flexible so it is a little more limiting in that regard. At the same time, the shorter tail allows her to sit without assistance on flat surfaces. Her paws are a different structure so they are perfect for her to hang on things (like the rim of a cup or bowl) but dont stop her from perching on the childs finger as her predecessors can. One plus is that the glitter does not appear to shed. A prior Fingerling (ahem Im talking to YOU unicorn!) shed glitter everywhere and was short lived in my house. A definite plus. All in all, we are an easy sell as my kids love Fingerlings and play with them like other kids play with Barbies. But I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this or purchase it for my nieces myself.
