> 3 dayI liked this umbrella before I used it yesterday and today. I saved this review because I wanted to know if this would work well in the conditions here in DFW Area of Texas. We are in weather that had rain, snow, sleet and hail as well as low temperatures. I have to take my dogs out 1 at a time in this mess. So I used the umbrella and it was big enough to cover both myself and each dog. And it held against the wind gusts. This was not hurricane or tornado winds. My other umbrella would not have done nearly as well as this one does. I do not have pictures as I had the dogs leash in one hand and the umbrella in the other hand. But I can assure you it is well worth the price.

Greater than one weekThis is a pretty premium feeling product. The case is elegant and has great stitching and also has a high quality zipper to make using the case much easier. There is even a dual color piping inside the case. The umbrella - wow. It’s just so nice. Reflective piping on the edge to make things visible at night and a dual-tone material that has the interior one color and the outer another. The frame for the umbrella also seems sturdier than the average umbrella. Add to this the fact that the open and close mechanism has a solid feel and you do come up with something a step above a basic umbrella. The “reverse” folding style this has is not new. Compact and full size umbrellas have used this method for years. There may be a group of buyers who come seeking premium products regardless of cost. At $93 MSRP this is a tough sell. If you can find it on sale it would be worth a look.

> 3 dayThere is a lot to like about this umbrella, but I also find it to not always be the most convenient option. The umbrella ribs are robust and certainly hold up impressively within a heavy downpour or windy day and the umbrella is deployed rapidly and easily. If using this for sun protection only, it is a little simpler to put away. On a rainy gusty day, while this umbrella is stronger and more robust it also takes a lot more effort to put away. You almost need to find cover briefly, spin off the excess water, close the primary part, but then the harder part comes compressing the umbrella back down. If you can get into a lobby or indoors first, then it is a bit less awkward and difficult (whereas trying to do this rapidly outside before entering a turnstile for instance isnt simple or quick IMO.) While the umbrella is a comfortable size and offers a pleasant level of protection from the elements, I dont find it to be larger than other umbrellas I own considered just for one person. Personally, I would find it uncomfortably awkward to try to shelter a 2nd adult with me under this on a rainy day (though I only intend to use this for personal use.) Overall, the umbrella is crafted with high-end materials, and built well to endure the elements.

> 3 daySize was accurate, the fit is very comfortable. When working out it wicks away sweat. The primary focus for me in evaluating these were if they could reduce fibular head displacement during running, weight lifting, and commuting. Pleased to say they held tight. The advantage of it over sports hinged or the slightly more flexible ones is that it will hold comfortably and not throw off your stride. Very pleased with these.

> 3 dayUmbrella comes with zipper open cover with a pull ring. Easy to get on and off umbrella. Push button and umbrella quickly opens. Push button again and fabric portion of the umbrella folds up - just have to push the very top of umbrella to compact the umbrella handle. In my opinion, I wouldnt let young kids use/open this umbrella because how quickly it deploys, and it takes a little bit of strength to compact the umbrella handle. The umbrella sometimes opens with the edge facing up. Gently pull the edge of umbrella down and the edge curve will change to downward. Not a big deal. Havent had a chance to use in windy conditions yet - will update review if any issues come up.

> 3 dayLike the design but when umbrella is fully deployed it takes away from the stability

> 3 dayI really like the way this umbrella folds, allowing the water to not drip down when its compact. The quality is well made (top-notch) and very sturdy. It even works pretty well in moderate wind conditions. I like that it has UV protection in it--and I look forward to using it at the beach this summer. The auto open and close feature is nice and solid. The quality is really impressive--quite heavy, almost a pound.

Greater than one weekFantastic umbrella - very sturdy even in strong winds, decent UV protection, and a good size. Unfortunately, the one I had broke just over a month after purchase. The automatic open/close button disconnected internally, and there is no way to operate the umbrella manually. Im hoping that was a fluke because I really liked this umbrella, although it should have manual options in addition to the automatic open/close.

> 3 dayI love that you can open AND close with a push of the button. High quality materials. Good size and not too heavy. Even the carrying bag is nice and includes a zipper for easy stowing.

> 3 dayI like the design and construction of the XIXVON umbrella. The reverse (or inverted) folding and reflective safety strip on its rim are thoughtful considerations. After walking to the car in a rain with this umbrella, while sliding on to your car seat, the reverse folding is helpful not to drip water inside the car and you may place the folded umbrella on the passenger seat or backseat without wetting. I understand it has UPF 50 and watery coating to prevent harmful UV rays or rainwater seeping on to the person under the umbrella. The metal frame with ten fiberglass ribs add strength and stability to withstand wind gusts. The one button opening and closing feature is nice. The space under the umbrella is large to accommodate two adults. The umbrella is lightweight (about 1 lb). Because of its large canopy and reverse folding the folded umbrella looks somewhat bulky. If you need a folding, travel umbrella this is a good choice.
