> 24 hourI got this thinking it would be bigger than it is... It works nice and pops open easy, but its on the small side. Nice for travel, but youre going to get wet.

> 24 hourThis is a very nice and stylish umbrella that really pops up with you hit the button. So far it is serving well as an interim and potential backup if I can get another of my preferred brand. The biggest issue I have is the spring can be really tight getting it closed, even depressing the button. I have arthritis and it may just be because I loose grip at times, but it is a bit of a handful to get it closed again. It wants to just pop out, which is a plus, just makes it a challenge to keep a steady grip while sliding it back down. *Updated* Spindles broke and stabbed my hand when I went to lash it closed with the strap. I had closed it and went to wrap it closed and got stabbed by spindles that had broke. I am very disappointed and upset. The weather at least is close to full autmunal transition for wearing hoods, but still this means I am out another uv umbrella.

> 24 hourThis is a trusty ol umbrella. I mostly keep it in my work bag and it never lets me down. It works perfectly every time, handles wind with no issues and is a nice small size.

> 24 hourIm not sure if Xixvon is a German or Chinese company. The text in all of the product photos for this umbrella is in German, but Xixvon doesnt sound like a German name. Either way, this umbrella is definitely German quality in terms of the build quality and the materials used. This is my second Xixvon umbrella. I felt that the first one I ordered is the nicest umbrella I have ever owned. I wouldnt be surprised if it lasts longer than I do. I keep that one in my car so that Im always prepared when Im away from home if it starts raining. But I wanted another umbrella that was a bit smaller and lighter to carry in my backpack. This SE version is perfect for my needs. Its small enough to easily fit in a backpack or purse, but the quality is just as good as the larger model I have. If youre looking for a travel size umbrella, this one should be at the top of your list.

> 24 hourThere will be no rain on our parade as long as we have this super sturdy umbrella. The pop button on the handle allows for easy opening without pinching fingers. The umbrella also folds up conveniently, making it easy to stow in a small purse or backpack.

> 24 hourThis umbrella is your standard rain umbrella size. You can tuck it in your purse. The opacity on this is great though! Its a blackout umbrella. On a hot day with no shade this will come in very handy. Its not too expensive at $17. I tried to see the ceiling light through it, but I could not. I cannot attest to how it performs in rain. I specifically got this for protection from the sun. I would get this again.

> 24 hourIt would be very difficult not to rate this umbrella 5 stars. Everything about it screams quality. Honestly, if you didnt know it was made in China youd think Germany or maybe the UK or somewhere they take umbrellas seriously. The canopy is made from Polyester and the main shaft and the inner part of each of the ribs are made of steel. The outer part of each rib are made from fiberglass. As you can see from my picture, there are also springs, tension arms, rivets, connectors.... its made from about 2 or 3 times as many parts as the cheap umbrellas I own. I suppose that might mean more opportunities for failure, but it all just seems well crafted. It springs open at the press of a button, and the top part collapses again with another press. One thing about this..once youve pressed the button to close it, you need to compress it all the way down again and fully close before re-opening. This is because some of the control cords inside the shaft area dont go back in until you do and so it wont lock out. Not a real issue, but something to know. It does take some force to close it fully again, but I dont find it an issue. If I were going to try to find fault its that the little black sleeve it comes with will just kind of fall off. It has no way to keep it closed. It would have been nice if it had a drawstring. Also, I found it slightly difficult to get the umbrella compressed down to its original diameter where the tab can wrap around it fully to engage the velcro. There is also no vent for wind if thats important to you. But overall, this is a high quality umbrella and feels like it will last a long time. Im quite pleased with it. I will update this review if anything changes. Like, subscribe...oh, wait. Thats something else....
