Looks good on the 2017 JKU and does not cause it to run hotter. Installed in about ten minutes and Ive never even taken the grille off before just watched a YouTube video on installation.

Good for going down road and collecting bugs and other creatures. I would recomend removing it prior to trails. Those big slots in grille offer great heat dissipation but this does block a lot heat from escaping from under hood.

I really like this product, but unfortunately I wont have it on my vehicle anymore. I have a 2-door 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sport JK, and the installation was super easy. I had it on my vehicle for about 6 months, but I noticed that I was running hotter than normal. Ive been having problems with my radiator even before this, but it made the problem worse due to inadequate room room for cooling (holes are too small). I love the look of it and its built amazing, but I couldnt recommend this in Arizona heat at least due to the amount of cooling it blocks.

I am very pleased with this item, it looks nice and seems to be good quality. I was a little unsure about the installation but literally Youtubed a video just to get an idea before I tried it. It is so easy, literally my 5 year old could have done it. It consisted of popping about 8 pegs out that hold the grille on and sliding the grille screen behind the grill and putting the pegs back in. It honestly took 2-3 minutes and I spent more time watching the YouTube video tutorial than it took to actually install it. It is amazing how something that seems like a low key addition (black grille guard) actually makes a big difference in the appearance of the front end of the Jeep. It makes it look finished and high end. I worried about how sturdy it would be considering other options using zip ties which seems cheap. This comes with no fasteners and literally seems to clip in to place on the bottom and snaps in to place at the top. when you push the grill back in place to put the pegs back in to secure the grille, it holds it very securely in place. It does not seem like it will rattle or jostle out of place. I think it will give decent protection against small rocks and debris which was my major reason in getting this but it also really makes the front end look much better. I am very pleasantly surprised with this item and it costs half the price of the grille guards you find in the Jeep parts magazines.

I reviewed many products like this one with some concern about fitting properly. Some of the reviews stated there needed to be cutting or other modifications to fit this insert in some Sahara special edition models. After receiving this insert, installation was just as easy as the video showed it to be. I opened the hood, took out the pegs holding the front, pulled it forward without having to take it off, and placed the insert. It snapped into place and was a perfect fit. Great look for such a small price!! I also have piece of mind knowing that my radiator will have some protection from the elements no matter where I am driving my Jeep.

Super easy install (pop the plastic rivets up across the top, tilt the grill forward). It fights tight across and make sure you have the notch for the temp sensor on the correct side (drivers). No rattling or wobbling once the grill is pushed back and reattached. Keeps rocks from damaging the fins on your radiator and condenser.

Easiest install ever. If I had known how easy it was to install I would have got one sooner. I had the stick in exterior ones previously, when they finally started falling off I figured it was time to get the insert. Great value for money. Looks clean and stock in a good way.

Good product for the money, very good customer service. UPS Mangled the first grill sent to me, Xbrite customer service made it right and sent a replacement one. Kudos to Xbrite.

After my experience with the Xprite LED front turn signals and marker lights, I was hesitant to pull the trigger on another Xprite product, but I have to admit that it works like a charm. Easy to install in my 2012 JK Sahara grill, and the cutout works great for access to my new hood lock. I will update this review if the product goes south, but so far so good.
