> 3 dayI have 4 SOK 206 amp batteries in a bank that I need to keep up over the winter. I had to bring them inside due to the extreme cold and put them on a charger to maintain them. The charger brought them back to the storage voltage and they are doing fine. Then I installed this heater in the battery/ electrical compartment of my RV which is only 120 square feet, and reinstalled the batteries. The heater is running on one of my Renogy inverters. Now the space has stayed 40+ degrees and the batteries haven’t had any issues. Cold weather and batteries are mortal enemies but this little guy came in and saved the day.

> 3 dayWe liked it so much we ended up buying another one for the boat one for main cabin and one for bedroom. In addition to being super quiet and compact it’s offers freeze protection while we are away during the week. With temps dropping we thought it would be good to have one in the main living area as the leather folds into a bed but the leather is very cold for the kids to sleep on.

> 3 dayThis product has high reviews for a number of reasons. First, our boat, 25 ft. Sea Ray is docked during the winter in our boat house in North Texas. We do enjoy using our boat during nice winter weather and prefer not to winterize our boat. This product is placed in the engine compartment to keep the cooling water in the engine from freezing. The heater turns on automatically when the temperature is below 40 deg F and maintains the compartment temperature high enough to prevent engine and bilge compartment. The heater is safe to use in a closed compartment where fuel vapors may be present. We do add fuel stabilizer in the winter and trim down our out drive to drain the water from the lower unit to prevent freeze damage. Very satisfied with the product which pays for itself in a year compared to on dock boat winterization services. The heater must have a continuous 110 V electrical supply to function. Very satisfied with this high quality marine grade heater.

> 3 dayThis is exactly what we needed to keep the bilge warm for the winter in Charleston. Easy to install, good directions and lots of safety features. It was recommended by someone who has them over the years and they are reliable.

> 3 dayInstalled as a pair... Worked well to help delay winterization and keep the diesel engines ready to start when temps dipped into in the low 20s last month. Recommended.
