Have to buy a new one of these pretty much every time I have to replace the batteries, the contacts are so fragile. Thinking of changing the whole alarm system now as this one is not very good value for money anymore!

Really simple to install - especially if replacing a faulty one as the back part which is screwed into the wall can stay in place. I always find these devices quite expensive for what you get, but they do the job well.

These contacts are only suitable for window and door frames that have a flat profile, my window and door frames have a contour which prevenst the two parts (magnet and sensor) from aligning so I cannot use these.
