> 24 hourAt first i was saying its way over priced and it kinda is, but its super durable and its been keeping my water cold and ice still ice for days at a time. I work in construction here in Hawaii where the suns hot and you NEED to drink a lot of water, this thing does exactly what i need it to do, to keep my water ice cold everytime i drink from it. Ive seen other jugs on the job sites ive been on and you see a lot of cracked covers, broken handles, and a lot of dented ones. So far its been taking the abuse well(i do take care of my stuff). Magnet on the top to hold the cap is awesome and super strong, love it. I have read before i bought this that its hard to take of the lid, yes it is hard sometimes but if your a man it shouldnt be so hard where you cant get it off lol

> 24 hourReally good quality bottle and I loved it. But it came dented so I returned it. For $130 it better be flawless. Then I discovered the Coldest Water brand. Same design, almost identical. I ordered it and sure enough it was the same structure as the Yeti. I think they are all, even the hydro flask, are made by the same manufacturer. They’re all also made in China. I was really hoping the yeti was made in USA but it’s only designed in the states. The Coldest Water brand is the exact same but it’s $30 cheaper bc it’s a less known brand. AND it also has a straw so you don’t have to lift the entire gallon over your head to get a sip. The stainless steel gallon with water in it is very heavy. In any case, which ever one you get, it’s a very good investment bc bpa from plastic is highly cancerous. You don’t even know if the water inside plastic bottles are what they say they are. These bottles are out in the sun on pallets at the markets. Please switch over to stainless steel, whatever brand, to avoid bpa. It is so so bad. I am not being paid by any of these companies. I just hate the damage done by plastic.

> 24 hourDont get me wrong, I love this cooler... but I absolutely hate having to refill it. It will keep thing cold for days but what ever genius decided to make it a course thread makes it nearly impossible to open. If you dont tighten it enough it dribbles down your chest like a child but if you tighten it the slightest bit you busting a ba.... trying to open it. Clearly they have not perfected their seal technology but it is too good not to give it a 9 out of 10

> 24 hourCame without a cap on it, disappointing but it doesn’t take away from the yeti itself, just poor shipping.

> 24 hourVery satisfied, I decided to splurge on myself for my birthday with the Yeti. I drink a gallon of water everyday and for years, Ive drank it was as it warmed throughout the day. Ive finally decided Im older now and deserve some cold water on the hotter days at work. This will keep ice for about 48 hours honestly, I bought two, 6 big cube trays for cheap and it was all well worth it. Trust me I was skeptical at first because for the price I could of got 2 or maybe 3 cheaper brand, but at the end of the day I only need one currently. Im a firm believer in that you get what you pay for and I believe if I would have went cheaper I wouldnt be as satisfied. **For the people that complained about the lid, it does help to open the cap first to help release the vacuum seal when opening. I will agree the lid IS tough at times (I find it most difficult in the mornings) but thats what makes the insulation so good. I have left this in my car on 90+ degree days, in the sun and still the water has been cold enough to give me brain freeze. Also! Side note, this can also be used as a small cooler for a couple sandwiches, etc., Or can be used for hot soup!!

> 24 hourBought 13 of these for office gifts. Everybody loves this. Keeps ice all day on the jobsites. One came without a lid but all I need to do is call for a cap. Yeti is the BEST!

> 24 hourLove this Gallon Yeti! has twist off top with wide opening enough to be able to put your hand in and clean! Like that the small drinking cap is magnetic! sticks to the top while you pour or drink from it. Im loving the Yellow color too!

> 24 hourI have both the half gallon and 1 gallon jugs. They are great bullet proof jugs. Ill give a tip for the the leaking trend problem that almost everyone has with the rubber seal on the lid. Seals need to be moist, wet, lubricated, however you want to say it. What I do is take my finger wet it with water and run it ALL THE WAY AROUND the rubber seal. I do this 2 to 3 times to make sure the rubber seal is thourghly wet. Then I tighten the lid on, and loosen it up (you dont take the lid completely off, just loosen it where it has free play in the theaded part.) I do this 2 to 3 times. 1 TIME WONT DO. 2 times the least, 3 times the most. Then tightened it all the way. It seems complicated, but its a small procedure you need to do so you can transport your water, beverages, ect. Safety without leaks GUARANTEE. I have at first use it as a dry seal and it leaked on me once. Plus when you wet the seal its a little easier to take off than dry seal. My half gallon has gotten more field use than my 1 gallon cause I bought it first. I dropped the thing a couple of times and accidentally Hit it on those yellow metal or concrete poles at stores, without a dent and it was hard to. I keep the 1 gallon in the car, the half gallon comes where I go. But they hold the same temperature that the water comes out of the ground, all day long (no ice). No matter how cold or hot my car can get. They are well worth the investment if you are gone all day long at work or where ever. I also get alot of comments from others say thats a nice jug.

> 24 hourWhat caused me to give this 4 stars instead of 5? In order to prevent it from leaking, I have to CRANK the lid down so hard that it takes everything my wife and I combined have in us to unscrew it to clean and refill it, one holding it and the other unscrewing it. And both of us are large strong people. If the lid is just normally tight, it leaks around the rim of the lid like a sieve. And, no, its not cross-threaded, it screws on smoothly and easily. Pros: Everything else. If it werent for the need to use superhuman strength to close and open the thing, Id want to give it 6 stars. Sturdy bottle, sturdy handle, magnetic holder for pour spout lid works great, this thing is a tank.
