> 3 dayI use it for drone building, soldering, screw holding and more. Its a good size, but it depends what you will be doing with it that will determine if the size is dood or not. I build 7” drones mostly and the drones overlap the flat working area on the matt. So if you dont want that then buy a matt that does not have anything but a plane area to work on. This one has screw holders and stuff

> 3 dayNice work mat, but the magnets are really weak. I wouldn’t use them to hold parts and would still instead use a magnetized bowl. Otherwise this mat is great and has a large work surface. I can open up an entire keyboard and work on it without it sticking out over the sides.

> 3 dayI was very impressed with this mat. I got it for taking apart gaming controllers and working on my guns. Normally mats like this go for more than 15 bucks and arent as heavy more have as many features. Might buy me some more

Greater than one weekFirst use was to solder new bulbs on my 2006 Sierra instrument cluster. The little divided areas on the mat helped keep the bulbs and small items handy and the mat was big enough for the whole circuit board. Will be using it many more times.

17-11-2024I misunderstood the measurements when I purchased, I thought the work space area was how the size was reported, but its actually the entire Mat size. My mistake, the Mat is as advertised and I like the feel of it and has many slots for holding parts while working on a project. I have since ordered a larger Mat, but this is a good Mat but perhaps a little pricey for what one gets.

> 3 dayIm an electronic repair hobbyist and bought this as a recommendation from a forum. No complaints here. The grooved slots for screws, bolts and parts are a nice touch. Most importantly, this resists heat really well. Ive changed soldering tips mid point and left it on the mat after a minute with no problem. This mat makes clean up a breeze. Definitely worth the purchase for any DIY hobbyist.
