Greater than one weekThe bits come in a beautiful sturdy wood box. The carbide is very high quality and brazing is very clean on each bit of my set. The non-stick yellow coating is applied clean and even. The bearings are high quality and bolt down well and secure on to the shaft of the bits. The name on the shaft is put on neatly on each bit of the set. There was also an surprise coupon in the packaging for future purchases!. Bits run very well on the router and perform very well hand held or on the table. I have routed many feet of MDF, plywood and soft woods like pine. The bits route clean and there is no strain on the router, I feel that I was able to route my stock a lot quicker than with my lonely old round over bit this set replaced. I had only one scrap of poplar to try for hardwood and it did just fine. Tips: 1) as soon you receive the bits inspect them. 2) be very careful removing them from the box as the carbide will cut your fingers and you see it before you feel it. 3) inspect and clean the bits to remove the manufacturing sticky stuff. 4) The carbide edges on the smallest three bits can touch at their widest point when inserting in the box. Take care to stagger the edges so they dont touch. Update: I had an issue with one bearing and emailed customer support. I got a response in a couple of hours and they only asked for a picture of the errant bearing and mailed out a new one the same day. Thats good customer service. The feel good part of this event is that in the initial response, Jonathan the CSR advised that all the bits of the set have the same size bearing and I can swap them to finish my project in time. Saved my weekend. Thats thoughtful customer service. To watch the this brands bits in action view the review by WoodWorkWeb on youtube.

> 3 dayThe Yonico 13171 1-1/2 Radius Round Over Router Bit is 15.5 ounces of steel, carbide and yellow enamel glory. I am building an all-redwood potting shed for my wife which includes a fold-up potting table. As I am not using metal hardware in the entire construction of the potting shed (no nails, screws or metal hinges) I wanted the table pivot point to be durable. Thus I chose a radius of 1-1/2 to ensure there was plenty of material around the wooden hinge pin to support the weight of the table and whatever was placed on it. I considered several methods of getting a gentle radius to the top edge of the table near the pivot point, including belt sanding, using various power saws, routing with a smaller radius, and combinations of all of the aforementioned. In the end I could envision that the result could be less than visually pleasing. I settled on routing the radius with a big router bit, and after doing some research and reading reviews, chose the Yonico 13171 1-1/2 Radius Round Over Router Bit. I chose this brand due to several factors, including my previous experience with this brand (see below), other reviews of this brand and price point. I pressed the Add to Cart button and anxiously awaited the arrival of my new router bit. It arrived within three business days via United States Postal Service in an Express Delivery envelope. The router bit was further encased in a layer of flexible corregated cardboard and securely taped closed. The router bit itself is contained (just barely...its a really big bit) in Yonicos typical soft plastic pouch. I inspected the packaging and router bit for any damage they may have received in transit. The packaging was intact and in perfect condition, and the router bit was pristine; no nicks or cracks. At 3-1/2 across, this router bit commands respect in terms of making sure that your particular router is set to the correct speed; it promises to do some serious damage to body and equipment if things go wrong. I have a Bosch 1617EVS mounted in a Bosch RA1171 router table. The Bosch 1617EVS router manual is vague regarding the specific speed setting (page 15), stating a range of 8,000-13,500-16,500 (dial settings 1, 2 and 3, respectively) for Nonferrous metals, larger diameter bits, and cutters. The PrecisionBits.com site recommends that bit diameters of 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 have a maximum speed of 8,000 - 12,000 RPM. Given those parameters, as well as the nature of the wood type and the amount of material to be removed, I elected to be conservative and selected 8,000 RPM. I chucked the bit, made the proper height adjustments, donned my Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and fired up the router. NOTE: On the Bosch RA1171 Router Table you will not use any of the plastic router table inserts; the diameter of the bit _just_ fits inside the opening of the router mounting plate. Prior to purchasing this bit, make sure the opening on your mounting plate can accept a 3-1/2 diameter router bit. ALSO NOTE: I had to completely remove the RA1171 router table fence, as the outside edge of the bit would make contact with the fence facing. I could have made a sacrificial fence and SLOWLY routed a zero-clearance opening, but I elected to simply remove the fence and all featherboards from the table top and make certain I kept fingers out of harms way. Yeah, highly unsafe, but it worked out. I wanted to be certain that the speed was correct, so I made some test cuts on some scrap redwood. I made several slow-feed shallow cuts to gently remove material. Once satisfied, I then used the same gentle process on the project stock. The Yonico 13171 1-1/2 Radius Round Over Router Bit performed excellently on every cut, and was still very sharp after making over a dozen 22-long runs. Make sure that you use a backing board, as tear-out on an unbacked board is significant, whereas a fully-backed board resulted in a perfect cut. A little hand-sanding with 220-grit sandpaper on the project stock and the end result was a very smooth and graceful 1-1/2 roundover and a gorgeous fold-up potting table. My wife is _very_ pleased, and that is what really matters. I have purchased the Yonico 17702 70 Bits Professional Quality Router Bit Set, the Yonico 15133 Drawer Front Joint Router Bit and Yonico 14522 5 Bit Straight/Dado Router Bit Set. All of the bits I have used so far from these sets have performed well, thus I recommend these router bits to any weekend woodworking warrior or home hobbyist who is looking for economical router bits that perform every bit (pun intended) as well as more expensive bits. From my experience and perspective, Yonico router bits are not one-time use bits as I have read in other reviews. Properly used and properly maintained, Yonico router bits will last many years. That all being said (or written, in this case) for short-term or infrequent use, Yonico router bits are great; if you find that you are using a specific profile more often or if you are using router bits for professional purposes, definitely upgrade to one of the more renown manufacturers. Thanks, Yonico!

> 3 dayThis Yoniko Roundover bit is excellent. I am new to using a router (not to wood working) and was able to use it within 20 minutes of practice to make this oak display stand for my flintlock. I have to admit, I did watch a few You Tube videos first but I was surprised how fast and easy it was to shape the edge of a piece of oak wood. This is a sharp bit and it cuts effortlessly. Highly recommend.
