> 24 hourI used this to cut slots in Trex decking to accept their hidden fasteners. Worked perfectly and cost a fraction of the price Trex asks for their proprietary version.

> 24 hourIf you are a DIY homeowner installing a Trex deck, dont bother with the expensive Trex bit. This one works perfectly. Its very sharp and cuts into Trex boards like a hot knife through butter. Makes a lot of chips though, so have a plan to clean those up so they dont pollute the environment.

> 24 hourEasy, good, affordable. I needed the bit to extend a hardwood floor by a few inches and had to remove and replace a too-small piece with one slightly larger. I had to cut the existing tongue of the piece I removed; this left its tongue glued inside the receiving groove. The router bit perfectly cleaned the groove of the receiving piece and allowed the installation of the new, slightly larger replacement piece as if it were a new install. Painless. (Took nearly longer to write than do!)

> 24 hourSome of the products being sold apparently are inferior quality and are prone to failing or even flying apart on first use. This Yonico router bit is the real deal. I used it to cut 1/4 grooves in both birch and pine plywood. I was doing drawers, so 4 grooves each on three draws that are about 20x15 inches. (Plus the practice runs to get a feel for it and make sure of the height) It may be that Im a novice, but I had the best results doing a climb cut where the blade was coming in from the top instead of the side. Otherwise I was blowing out the entire length of the groove.

> 24 hourFor a small and single project I did not wanted to buy something expensive. This came pretty cheap and did the job well. Cuts were sharp and with a bit of adjustments I managed to align them properly for what a Trex deck board needs. Very satisfied with the piece. Probably won’t be using it for a long time but when I’ll need it it’s gonna be handy.

> 24 hourAfter hanging really nice, Hunter Douglas motor driven faux wood blinds in the wall of windows in our family room, I discovered that having to remove these extremely heavy blinds periodically to replace the eight AA cells in their battery packs was a royal pain. Three of them are hung about 16 feet off the floor, which made removal without two people and two extension ladders virtually impossible. So what does this have to do with a router bit? Well, I decided it was time to run wires and power these window coverings from a single accessible power supply, and this is the hard-to-find router bit that allowed me to do it! I needed a bit that would cut a 5/32 wide slot in the top piece of the wood casing of each window, and I didnt want it to be more than 3/8 deep. All I needed was to be able to recess a pair of wires into the casing which would be hidden by the header of each of the blinds. Most bits of this type have a small bearing and are a larger diameter cutter, which means a deep slot. Yes I could have fitted something temporarily to run the bearing on, but it was tough enough balancing the router over raised panel trim. In fact, I had another 1/4 shank bit with a top bearing that was a larger diameter, so I put it on this bit and reduced the cutting depth a little more. Aside from being a nice small diameter for shallower cuts, the bit cuts cleanly. From the description image it appeared to have only two cutting surfaces; in fact it has three. So assuming the carbide is decent, it should make nice clean cuts for a while before dulling. For the price, its disposable. If this thing makes the kind of cut you need, buy it.
