No problem with this Cat8 cable on 2.5GbE. Granted, at 10ft length Cat5e also works fine, but thats the length I tried. 2.37Gbps in both directions, which is the limit of my testing ability on that network, and is the result I was expecting. The flat braid gives it an interesting appearance, so this could be nice if you have a device where the cable is visible, like a wall-mounted access point if you cant put a cable in the wall.

I really like the look of this cable. My desk is in the center of my office, so you can see all of the cables on the back side. This stylish cable definitely helps make it look intentional. I got this cable to replace an unreliable old ethernet cable. This cable feels very sturdy and the end clips securely snap into ethernet ports. I ran a speed test with my old cable and this cable, and the results are nearly identical. Overall I think this has great value and I would recommend to anyone needing a durable ethernet cable.
