Greater than one weekThis is a rugged, well made, substantial cable. Ive connected it directly to my main tower computer at home. I wont be able to put this cable to a real speed test yet as I am connected to a residential router at 1 GBPS. However, I expect that this cable is going to last a long time and will likely outlive my router. The snagless end connectors are so much better than other cables I have that Im tempted to swap it out and use this one with my laptop on the road.

Reviews and Information
Greater than one weekNo problem with this Cat8 cable on 2.5GbE. Granted, at 10ft length Cat5e also works fine, but thats the length I tried. 2.37Gbps in both directions, which is the limit of my testing ability on that network, and is the result I was expecting. The flat braid gives it an interesting appearance, so this could be nice if you have a device where the cable is visible, like a wall-mounted access point if you cant put a cable in the wall.

Greater than one weekI have absolutely no issues with this cat8 ethernet cable. The woven wrap around it is of high quality and protects the cable well from high traffic areas. There isnt a whole lot more to say about it, it works as it should, the price for the quality is fantastic, and if youre looking for 10 feet of cat8, you should look no further -- this is it.

> 3 dayI really like this cable design and construction. It is a 6 foot Cat8 Ethernet cable with a woven nylon cover and snagless RJ-45 connectors. What I really like about this, with the nylon cover and almost flat cable, it coils up easily and compactly for storing. That is great for travelers who need to pack a lot of electronics accessories in a limited space. I got this cable mainly for use while I travel and need or want a faster or more reliable wired connection with my laptop rather than a wireless connection.

> 3 dayI got this cable to go from my Synology NAS to my main 1 Gbps switch. Since my internal network is still only 1 Gbps, I was only able to test transfer speeds up to that point and was not able to verify transfers up to 40 Gbps as advertised. However, I get near line speed transfers with my current switch, interface and this cable. The cable future proofs my desire to put a 10 Gbps switch in place and get a 10 Gbps interface on the NAS.

> 3 dayFirst, a very well made Cat 8 cable. Nicely woven jacket, premium connectors (See pic). I always wondered if I was limiting my speeds with my older ethernet cables, so I decided to give this cable a try. This Cat 8 cable was excellent. It maxed out my available internet speeds. See pic 3. I then tried a Cat 7 cable. Again, it maxed out my available internet speeds. See pic 4. I then tried a Cat 5e cable not a cat 5 (speeds up to 1000mbps with 5e) and again it maxed out my available internet speeds. See pic 5. So clearly, these cables were all up to the task for my limited needs, for now. But frankly, Cat 8 is made for much higher speeds and frequency than a home user will typically see at this time. BUT, the future may hold even greater speeds for the home user, so I would say to buy this if you want to future proof your cabling. After all, its around the same price as similarly made older standard cat cables, so why not buy this instead of the older tech !
