The plastic coating is not bonded to the metal hook. When you are turning them the two materials separate which will allow them to rust especially if they are outside which is my case. Not a big deal just and FYI.

Look great, very sturdy and hold up well in windy, rainy weather conditions. Very nice bright lighting and actually bought the dimmer which provides a beautiful ambiance.

So if you are installing outdoor lights, these are a MUST have.

Let me preface this by saying the price for 50 kinda justifies the hooks not being the best quality. I bought these hooks to hang coffee mugs under a shelf. They did the job relatively well. While installing these hooks I wanted them all to face the same direction. To achieve these some needed to be tightened down more then others. The hooks that were pushed further into the wood had the coatings peel up and off. The one plus side to having 50 hooks was that I had many tries to get it right but I am a little worried about how well they will hold up over time.
