I put my dogs food bowl on it. The surface of the platform is smooth, so as soon as the dog tries to eat -- it falls off. Now my dog will never eat from it again. I cant figure out how to get the dead ants from the inside....do they transport up to Mr. Spock?

This is the best find ever to keep away ants. I was tired of moving the food bowl around or rotating schedule. The ants always seem to find a way. Short of having to kill off all the ants in your yard, this product works as advertised. I have been using it for a week and no ants in the food bowl. Its a great time saver. I bought this and another product using water as moat. The water needs refill and the cats can spill food in the water creating a bridge. It was a daily chore just refilling water and cleaning it. This product is worth the money.

We live in Florida, need I say more? Fire ants in abundance. I feed a stray cat on my front porch. It use to be the minuet he was done eating I had to get the dish in as the fire ants would be all over the leftovers in no time. No coming back to graze for Trigger. I got this dish to put under the cat food dish and it works. Not one ant in his food dish at all. I can leave his dry food dish out for him to eat at his leisure. Now if I could figure out how to keep the following out of Triggers dish, a toad, momma raccoon and her 3 babies, a opossum, and another stray cat that Trigger brought to the porch with him. Dont mind the cat, and yes my heart goes out to the babies...but the dish works to keep the ants out of his dish. Whew! LOL

The description is misleading, I thought you got a bowl with this product, it only includes the anti-ant circle. Other than that the product works really well, no ants in cat food since I purchased. Would have been a five on all reviews if the description matched what I received.

We had ants all the time going into the cats food. We got tired of cleaning each time theres ants. I decided to buy two of these and it works! No more ants into the food. Now the cats can eat the food anytime they want WITHOUT Ants.

I have a little homeless cat that Ive been feeding on my porch, but keeping ants out of her dish was a real problem. I was using a special dish with a water barrier, but it didnt prevent ants well. I put this device under that dish, and so far I have not seen a single ant in her food. Im thrilled with this purchase!!!

It actually works. I have five for my feral cats. Food all day and no ants ever. I wish they would sell it with the bowl included. I would buy it with a bowl.

This is exactly what I was needing. The only thing I don’t like about it is the is nothing to keep the tray from sliding or the bowl from sliding off. I ended up putting sticky craft foam on the top and bottom.

When we feed our cats dry food outside, it is instantly covered in ants. We tried ant-proof bowls which worked well until they broke. Thought wed try this product this time, and I am really pleased! Works perfectly. Im not sure quite how it works, but Im very thankful it does. Great product -- thank you!

I have no idea how this would work but I have not seen any one single ant since I use this product to feed our outdoor cat. I just place his plate on top this. Thats simple. Highly recommend to all!
