So far so good. I bought these to replace the original foam filters for our Fluval 406 filter. They are very similar and much cheaper then buying the OEM filters. I rinsed them before use and so far Ive had no problems with cleaning or with the fish having a negative reaction.

These filter pads fit perfect in my fluval. I don’t have to worry about spending a ton of money at the pet store now. We go through them quickly with turtles. There is no way I can just rinse them, and it’s a great price.

How can such a good deal exist?! They came fast, fit my Fluval 406 just like the ones that came with it did, and have been filtering great for about 3 months now. I see no problems with them, as they are cleaning my painted turtles tank like a dream. The value is unreal, and you are not compromising at all on quality. Will be buying more of these in the future for sure!

These were too long for my 406. I was able to cut off the last couple inches and still use them. Good price, good quality sponge. Edit: Turns out I have the 306 not the 406. Therefore they really arent too long for the 406, I just bought the wrong ones. :)
