I will start out by saying it is worth the amount of money that it takes to buy it but the packaging was not well done and it was bent before I even got it out of the box however since it’s made of cheap aluminum it should not be surprised that it was bent to begin with because the snake itself could probably bend it if it tries to escape I kind of expected this so I decided to use Clips on the side to avoid any issues

The item is made of mesh and thin metal along the edges. It was shipped in the original packaging and arrived bent nearly in half. I could tell by the outside of the box that the item was going to be damaged. The lid is bent ever so slightly so its still functional it just doesnt open and close smoothly. One of the hinges is hanging on by a ragged edge so I dont know how many times Ill open and close it before it snaps off. I was pretty desperate for this to arrive so I decided to keep the lid as my axolotl really needed it. But Im sure Ill have to buy a new one eventually. I will say adding this mesh lid and a simple desk fan to my tank I got the temp lowered 5-6 degrees which made it the perfect temp for my lotl. So it did the job but its just disappointing they didnt package a flimsy item better. I tried to report an issue with the item to see if theyd send me a replacement or refund but Amazon says Id have to initiate a return and I dont want to go through sending it back, since like I said, I really needed it for my pet.

I received the item damaged due to poor packaging. I managed to make it work however. Customer service was very helpful when presented with the shipping disaster and offered to replace it. The item itself was somewhat cheaply made. It didnt quite fit and was somewhat flimsy but for the price, it was ok.

Item was as described. Fits perfectly. Could only find in online. Best price I found online.

Great to have large access to the inside of the tank without having to remove the entire screen.
