I received the item damaged due to poor packaging. I managed to make it work however. Customer service was very helpful when presented with the shipping disaster and offered to replace it. The item itself was somewhat cheaply made. It didnt quite fit and was somewhat flimsy but for the price, it was ok.

Love this, but had to cut out a spot for my aquarium filter....just needed it for my 50 gallon aquarium that is in my bird room. Need the moisture to be able to get out, but not flying birds get trapped in it. Works great!

It was right on time and It is a perfect fit, but the metal is super thin so its flimsy and bends easy. It was bent some when I received it.

This thing is super secure - the latches really hold it in place. I wouldnt think anything that could fit in a tank this size would ever be able to get out.

I was hesitant to purchase due to other reviews mentioning damage during shipping and flimsy materials. We didnt have much choice however; we needed a screen top that opens easily, so we took a chance. We havent been disappointed. It arrived in good condition, and while it does sag just a bit with three lights resting on top of it, its held up so far, and weve had it for about a month. It fits just right. The lip of our tank is 48 1/4 by 12 3/4, and the screen is just a bit bigger than that to allow it to rest easily right over the top without being too snug. When it opens, theres just enough space to reach in and remove our adult bearded dragon and his food and water dish. If we want to remove his cave or perch however, we need to remove the entire lid. Still, its worked just right for what we needed.

The product is very nice, solid. Although when it arrived it was rather bent up from shipping I assume. I was pretty annoyed, especially when I noticed this is a reoccurring issue in the other reviews. It was easy enough for me to bend back and I even bent the back end so that it fit snugger while I was doing this. So it worked out for me but you still shouldnt have to repair your brand new product.

Fits perfect

The side frame is a little thicker than a regular tank cover, so the metal clips to hold it down are not as secure. I do like the center hinge on it, so I dont have to remove the whole top to clean the tank or feed the snake.

Arrived a day late, I recieved no clips even though its advertised and the top lid is dented in the middle where the hinges are. I tried to bend it back to shape it but didnt since the hinges looked like they would bend as well.
