Fit my 10 gallon tank perfectly and love the small door at top. I have green anole lizards and all the other tops you have to move the screen to access tank and with anoles make it too easy for them to escape this works perfect .

Good fit and well made for the most part, side alum. rail is a little flimsy so you have to be careful when you remove it.

Fit perfectly & the little door is perfect to open up & give your turtles or fish their food.

We got this to convert a 30 gallon fish tank into a snake enclosure. It fit perfectly. The latches secure it so that our little escape artistic cant get out. Much better price than purchasing from PetSmart.

You have to buy the tank latches separately and the little lock knob broke off after 2 weeks.

This is perfect for my crested gecko grow-out tank. I like the little latch on the door that allows me easy access. Wish it came with clips but hey, its better than the large kritter keeper he was in

You definitely need clamps to keep it securely down but great for dropping in food or water without having to take off the entire top and move the clips around (and accidentally forget to replace them).

I bought this as a cover for gerbils in a 29 gallon Aqueon aquarium. The lid seems sturdy, and will fit my 20L and 29 aquariums. The door has a knob that turns to lock and unlock. The bottom of the knob has a piece that slides under the side of the lid. On the Aqueon aquarium, the aquariums top plastic frame is in the way of the doors locking piece unless you lift the lid off of the aquarium, which you cant do with locking clips attached to the lid. This isnt a big problem, but I had to cut a notch into the plastic aquarium frame to make this work well for me. This lid is comparable in price to the doorless lids at my local pet store, and the access door is handy for a tank this wide. The door is a good size for hands and food bowl access.

This cover is sturdy and fits the size indicated perfectly. My only alteration would be to make the door a third of an inch wider since it Would fit the aqueon (cheap, common, and just about smallest) pump if it were only about a quarter of an inch wider. I expect they are thinking of reptiles and small mammals with this one, but Im using it for water turtles and dont want a solid lid. I want them to have the good air circulation and flexibility with lighting (and protection for the lights from splashing) that I get with screening. As it is, I have this on cockeyed... working but not ideal. Im surprised they didnt realize the door might be useful for common insertions like the pump, so there really is no product out there for what I want and this Is sturdy (too sturdy to cut down to fit the pump actually!). Id reccomend it for anyone with small reptiles and mammals, insects, hermit crabs etc.

Such a handy item, never knew these exist!

Provide the refreshing air circulation of a screen cover with the added feeding convenience of a hinged access door. Reptiles are kept safe under the protection of tough escape-proof mesh that resists scratches, bites and corrosion. Both the mesh and the steel frame are designed to withstand the high temperatures from heat lamps.
