Greater than one weekThe first one I recieved the hatch was bent and rusted so I just exchanged it. The second one was also rusted. And if you have a standard tank and you lock the hatch it pushes it off the tank. Its flimsy, ill fitted and both hatches were rusty and damaged to some degree. Not cool.

Greater than one weekYou definitely need clamps to keep it securely down but great for dropping in food or water without having to take off the entire top and move the clips around (and accidentally forget to replace them).

> 3 dayKeeps the renegade hamster in his habitat - fits the aquarium well. Easy on and off. Didnt really need the little door but who knew at the time (being 1st attempt at hamster ownership.) Got the clips to hold it on but never used them.

Greater than one weeki bought this for my frog and it is so much easier to feed him then with the traditional screen. if only it had removable sections on the side for the filter it would have been better, but honestly i am griping over nothing. this lid is very nice and i would highly recommend it

Greater than one weekWe were not sent the cover pictured. The cover we received is a divided screen with a hinge running the entire length at the center of the cover. Its still a good cover, but it wasnt what we thought we were getting based on the picture and description and it was even slightly warped when it arrived. So for that I can only rate it 3 stars as its kind of disappointing, but still functional.

> 3 dayLuckily, my leopard gecko cant climb walls, so it doesnt matter that this lid doesnt sit right tight on my 29G tank. Its a bit offset and sits awkwardly. The lock cant close all the way when on a tank, because the lock sits over the edge of the tank. Therefore, if I want it fully locked, it has to sit ABOVE the tank edge, which makes the entire lid sit even MORE offset. Regardless, it does the job for me, but if your critter is strong enough to possibly push the lid off and you arent using hinge locks, beware!!
