> 3 dayThese are great covers! I was a little concerned the rats might chew on the plastic latch inside the cage that keeps the door closed, but so far so good there! Much more convenient for getting rats, food, water, etc in and out of the cage. -Jen

> 3 daySits funny on my tank, like its a little crooked... and the locking mechanism is pretty crappy, doesn’t really hold it close well and is very sticky. Luckily my snake doesn’t care much, but if you have a super escape artist I would look elsewhere. Nice and sturdy though!

> 3 dayWe bought this to replace a previous one that we had. The small break in the screen is great for getting the critter out without having to worry about it jumping/climbing out! The reason this gets three stars is that the first iteration we got, the latch for the door in the lid broke after less than a year (when it wasnt even in continuous use as we upgraded our first corn snake to a larger tank and then eventually got a new corn snake for the small tank... because thats how this is supposed to work, right?). Overall, it was worth us buying again, but I wish that the latch were sturdier and that it hadnt broken in the first place!

> 3 dayA friend gave me her 29 gallon fish tank as a new home for my ball python. I picked up this lid to go with it. Pros: -Fits my tank perfectly. -The hatch makes getting my snake in and out soooo much easier than my old tank (which simply had clamps on the lid). Im never buying a screen without a hatch again. -Materials used to make the screen are very nice. Cons: -I found it difficult to get the clamps onto my tank. Maybe its just my tank, but it took a while. That said, once theyre on, theres no problem. Its easy to clamp them on and off the screen itself, so cleaning my tank isnt a problem. I just leave the clamps on the tank and remove the lid entirely.

> 3 daySnug fit and works fantastic for my 20gal long. I dont even need velcro or tape to hold it down, its tight enough to stay on itself without worry of my mice pushing it up while they cling to it.
