Zilla Vertical Décor Mushroom Feeding Ledge One Size

Nugget loves it! I added several new decor items today and the ledge is the first thing he investigated. I put a couple incapacitated roaches in the feeder cup and left him alone. Came back later and he was still on the ledge after eating. Still is even now and it’s been a few hours! Note: small roaches can climb the side of the clear insert. The suction is good enough to hold but I can slide it around some on the glass, too. Takes some effort. Dunno how it’ll hold a chonky boy but it’s perfect for Nugget. Looks great, too! I really like that the insert is a good plastic that’s reusable. A+ Highly recommend. If you’re debating this or a magnetic back look no further. A magnetic attachment ruined the finish of an acrylic enclosure. This is a great and lightweight choice!

Love this for my Leo because he loves to climb. Have had it for a few months now and its still in place. In the beginning it took a few tries for it to stick but I found slightly dabbing water where you want it to suction will help.

I was extremely hesitant on purchasing the hiding rock due to it feeling way overpriced but I gave it a shot anyways. It’s a very lighter weight material with a lid that doesn’t stay on but just is placed on top. Not a game changer for me because I have a White’s Tree Frog but it could be an issue for a larger wider snake that is squeezing through. The inside is definitely for smaller to smaller medium creatures and doesn’t give a ton of space for them to crawl around. It’s a hide, so that’s exactly the space that’s given. I liked that it included a black static cling to place on the glass. It helps to keep extra light out and makes the animal feel safe and secure. My frog never even bothered with it so I don’t have any idea on cleaning but I assume it’s pretty good for wiping off. My problem is the suction cup. It’s absolutely terrible. I don’t know if I received a messed up one or not but it did NOT suction at all. What is SUPPOSED to happen is you place it in position and push to create suction. You then move the clip down to pull stronger which keeps it in place. It barely did at first. I would push and clip and reclip and eventually it would hold. It was not in place strongly though and would move side to side. Even if it did stay suctioned, the animal would have a hard time staying on because it didn’t slip over the the clip securely. Eventually, it stopped suctioning all together. I couldn’t get it to stay at all! It still moved side to side and I would hear it fall all the time. I finally said screw it and requested a return. If this item was $10-$15 I would EXPECT it to suck but this was $32! It should work perfectly. I was not going to risk the life of my animal due to the terribly quality. I would not recommend this product to anyone based on the cost alone but the cheap quality makes it even worse. Again, MAYBE my item was screwed up to begin with but I don’t think it was to be completely honest. If it is placed on ground level, my issues wouldn’t be a problem, but if you’re using it up higher on the glass surface just skip it all together. My Dollar Tree soap holder has better suction ability in the tank.

Zilla makes quality products. I’m never disappointed.

when i got the ledge it looked appealing. later when i was unboxing it, the mushroom chipped a little bit. not to big of a deal but it’s not the greatest quality

Suction cup doesnt move. Stays well in place and the added glass shade makes this product the perfect hide for your aborial creature. It is rather large and takes some room up if you keep it in a small enclosure, but would transition nicely into something bigger which gives your reptile some safety when graduating to a bigger tank. A+ on the design. I love how this product looks from an esthetic standpoint. It has a lot of room to add a decent amount of moss. I have gone through several hides and other items to give a certain look but I think this has to be the best one and appropriate for the cost.

Both me and my snake adore this hide. I bought it because I figured it would be a cute addition to my tank, but also because it’s enriching. Not only does it look great, it encourages my snake to use his vines and branches to climb while also giving him an opportunity to hide somewhere above ground. My snake immediately started using it. Out of his whole 40 gal covered in hiding areas, if I needed to find him- 9 times outta 10 he’d be hanging out in the cave. I put some sphagnum moss in the bottom just to offer the snake some extra security. The only possible downside I can think of when it comes to this thing is how bad I’m going to feel removing it from my tank once my snake outgrows it.

This is the best feeding ledge for my crested gecko! It looks great in the enclosure and Im amazed by how sturdy it is. Ive had it in my 12 y/o cresties enclosure for about three weeks now and it had yet to even budge! I also love that its multi-functional, he loves to eat on it and its also one of his favorite climbing surfaces. One pointer that Ill add is that the 1.5 oz. 2.5 X 1 in. deli cups are a perfect fit if you prefer using disposable cups like me - you can find them on amazon in bulk amounts!

I got this for my leachianus gecko. This was far from what I was hoping for. Yes I am shocked on how well this thing is holding up so far. But I am disappointed in the choice of the material they used to make this product.
